"I have spent a third of my year at a local campsite and have been going to the Hundred House for years. It used to be a great pub, but our last few visits have been terrible and I will never visit again. On this visit, we preordered food and arrived on time, but our table was dirty and wet. We asked to have it cleaned, but they only did half of it, so we had to ask again. We were then told that the starters half of us had ordered had run out. I ordered a pint, but I have had to drink cider on my last couple of visits because the beer I used to enjoy, Butty Bach, is terrible these days. I was looking forward to a Sunday lunch, but when it arrived, the Yorkshire pudding was rock hard, as was the stuffing and parsnips. The roast potatoes were barely edible. It was the first time in my life I couldn't eat a Yorkshire pudding because it was inedible. The vegetables were good, although we had to ask for extra condiments and cutlery. The service was absolutely shocking, and when we told a young server about our problems, he did nothing about it. When I went to pay the bill and mentioned how bad the experience was to the cashier, he said I could speak to the landlord. But by then, I was fed up and didn't bother. The landlady approached my sister on the way out and offered to refund £30 of the £85 bill, but since I had paid for the meal, she declined. I preferred to stick to my side of the deal, pay what was owed, and let everyone know about my experiences. If you are looking for poor service, bad food, and rubbish beer, this is the place for you."

15 minutes to walk to the pub of we stayed. Pub food was beautiful with a large selection and staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, and so we are the locals. would be highly recommended.

We stayed in a excellent local campsite called Fforrest fields and all 7 of us decided to have a pub dinner at the hundred house.Very bad food, none of us could eat it, no refund was offered and one of the staff was very rude. Waste of £140.

Myself and a mate have just been in for food, I had the Canadian Burger and my friend had the hunters chicken. Food was amazing, no waiting at all and both plates were hot! Amazing service as well, met with a smile and very polite!! Would highly recommend

despite its slightly shaded outside, the employees are very pleasant and attentive. the menu is so extensive that you can decide. the bark curry came with a lot of bark meat and rice with a large poppadom. the Thai huh was again full of meat and sweet, all very full. the pizza is large and tasty, a box for rest is offered. a satisfying meal with real ale at a good price. you have to stop when you pass.

Located just a short walk from the campsite, we have been coming here daily for drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Tonight, we decided to have dinner there and it was packed. Possibly due to the weather or more likely because of the amazing meals. I had a delicious wood-fired oven pizza while my partner enjoyed the ribs and lasagne. With a few pints each, the bill came to under £35. A great night overall! Well done to the staff.

The Hundred House was the first place we went to last year after restaurants started reopening and we were so impressed that we decided to return when we were in the area again this year. This time we had Sunday lunch, which was delicious. There was plenty of meat, 6 different veggies as well as potatoes, and a separate jug of gravy. I couldn't face a pudding but my husband had a sundae which I had a little taste of lovely. There are still gazebos outside so there is plenty of room for people who would prefer not to sit inside. Service was friendly and efficient.
