"After the refurb this place has totally changed for the better. The whole vibe inside is much nicer, the smoking area is 1000x, and week to week the atmosphere is top notch. Jake, the kitchen manager handles food like nobodies business, absolute bees knees. Zak, on the bar, pours the finest Guinness known to man. And Sophia’s is not too shabby either. 10/10, would recommend, always got the footy on. A lovely Euros was had at the horseshoe!"

Great pub. Staff are always axcellent had a swiss burger which was banging. I ordered it at a reasonable time and it came very quickly.

I've been coming here for years every Monday for poker. Always a great night and good prices on drink. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

It’s alright inside but staff don’t know half their own food offers and everytime I go there’s no one behind the bar. Calling out to the kitchen cos there’s 4 of us waiting there isn’t a good look at all.

We’ve been coming to the pub once a week for the last 4 months. Always arriving between 8.40pm 9pm. Every week we ask if they’re still serving food and are told the kitchen is shut. You clearly state you serve food to 9pm. It’s even more frustrating to see ‘friends of the staff members’ being served after 9pm.
