"I'm just evaluating the quality of the pizza. The dough is tastefully good and nicely thin, without being soaky. That's it. The tomato sauce is fresh and spicy, mozzarella is used in cheese. The other coating is good to very good, especially recommended is the pizza veggile, the vegetables always seem freshly grilled and tastes great. For me the best pizza in county, which I get very regularly. The times from telephone order until the pizza can be picked up vary between 10 and 30 minutes, very good."

"My two college-aged children and I had spent the day in Munich and planned to drive to Berchtesgaden the next day, so this was a well-established stop for us (it is a little over an hour drive from Munich). When you approach this area, you begin to see a lot more mountainous terrain, which is just beautiful. The area surrounding this village is filled with farms and pastures, which was also very picturesque and relaxing. We arrived shortly after dinner and when we came in, nobody was at the reception. We looked around and finally someone came out of the kitchen to help us. They didn't speak English at all, but with some gesture we found out what they needed. They had filled us a form (name, address, etc.) that was all in German. Parts of the form I didn't understand (because I don't know German and they were a little frustrated with me because I didn't know what to write, but since they don't speak English, they couldn't tell me what to write down. That was a little challenging. But finally we got a key to our room on the second floor. Our room slept three, but believe me there was no replacement quadratch. We agreed as long as we were together, that was all that counted. Funny was the bathroom in German standards immense! We laughed that it actually looked like the bathroom had been square shots larger than our bedroom! But at the end of the day, a nice clean room, a nice comfortable bed, and a clean and updated bathroom all filled the bill so that we were happy. Breakfast was in the main dining room, and they had a nice ad. Several different fresh breads, cheese, meat, tasty fruits (they actually had fresh strawberries, the first we had seen in each of our hotels and it was strawberry season! They give you your dining table which is beautiful that you are guaranteed a seat without waiting, but then again sometimes it is nice to choose where you want to sit. We could not stay to explore the city, but it certainly looked inviting. This was a great stop overall, and I would recommend it! And a tip from here to Berchtesgaden requires driving through Austria. You must stop at a gas station near the highway and first buy a vignette. This is like a toll sticker for your window, and if you don't have it in Austria, they raise a great fine (like 125 euros). The gas station near the hotel did not sell them, but they said that they were along the highway and we found one closer to the highway. Once in Austria, at each exit there was a police checkpoint where they stopped every car to look for the vignette, so make sure you get one!"

"Wir haben uns aufgrund der vielen tollen Bewertungen für ein Essen im Restaurant Lickei entschieden. Wir haben die Filetspitzen vom Wollschwein gegessen. Leider hatten wir ganz andere Erwartungen, so wie die Gerichte auf der Karte angepriesen werden. Es war recht lieblos angerichtet. Geschmacklich gut, aber nichts aussergewöhnliches. Die Soße mit Speck und Trauben war nicht spektakulär, Trauben haben wir genau zwei halbe gefunden. Ausserdem war zum Filet auch anderes Fleisch mit im Essen, Filet ist einfach an seiner Form, Farbe und dem eindeutigem Geschmack zu erkennen. Wenn dann plötzlich helleres, festeres Fleisch dazwischen ist, fällt das doch schnell auf. An sich nicht tragisch, aber den Preis zahle ich ja für das Filet. Service war etwas schlecht gelaunt. Schade. Alles in allem nicht wie erwartet. Da haben wir uns von der Karte täuschen lassen. Vielleicht hatten auch alle einen schlechten Tag. Aber für diese Preise haben wir etwas mehr erwartet."

"Pizza is OK. When service is good, it is fine. Most days, though, the staff is reptilian; they are feral. Beastly. If you hate your job so much, why work in the service industry? I wrote this review under a different account by mistake, and the restaurant replied that I must have the wrong place, sure, maybe they get overly stressed when they only have one person to serve all the customers. So this is a business that understaffs, allows their staff to bark at customers because THEY are stressed at the workaday toil of having to actually provide service and sell food, and therefore my review is unfair. I stand by my review: these people are horrible, serving merely OK pizza, and they treat customers like they are a burden to be borne."
