Tables set out with good social distancing and table service was ok I had the simple steak which was tough and chewy , my husbands burger was very nice Would have sent the steak back under normal circumstances

Popped in for a bite to eat and decided on the burger. The chips were only just warm and the onion rings were lukewarm and somewhat soggy. We accept that at the price point Spoons are not the place you go for a nice meal...but the very least you could do is serve hot food hot to the table.

Value for money room was first class, food was also superb and staff were very helpful. The reasonI didn't give stars was we had disabled room and we both have blue badges and expected to park in the two disabled bays but they...were full of empty tables perhaps a courtesy call would have been nice. Went for breakfast after months of staying away due to poor reviews. One veggie breakfast and one normal arrived pretty quickly and nicely cooked but was t really hot enough, probably due to being served on cold plates. By the time I had finished eating...it was pretty cold, and because I’d kept going to eat it whilst still warm, my coffee had gone cold.

Shocking experience! Came in for drink and food for the baby after a special occasion. And because we knew others in the building was said we was in a group. Bare in mind they was sat on separate tables far apart, asked to speak to...the manager but no show! I hope to see this chain for what it is a dingy venue for microwave food and appolling customer service. Never again

Our first experience of a wetherspoon hotel and We could not fault the quality of the room or facilities. The welcome was warm and friendly. Parking is easy in an adjacent council free car park. As an ale drinker and camra member wetherspoon is always...worth considering. Special thanks to the young bar tender who on a very busy Friday night stil picked up that a wine glass was not clean and immediately changed it. Little things like that matter. I've been going to March Wetherspoons with family and friends since it opened and it was consistently good. I went more or less twice a week until last October when it seemed to have been going downhill. Today was not busy at just weekday. We waited a good minutes for the order to'be taken and waited at least the same again to finally receive our drinks. Then another minutes for the food to appear. My sirloin steak and salad was steak peas mushroom and tomato, but I didn't feel inclined to send it back and wait another minutes and so I ate it because I thought I would still enjoy it.. not a big deal. We stayed overnight in the Hippodrome Hotel and ate in the pub section in both the evening and for the next morning’s breakfast. The accommodation was superb, really excellent value for money, however the dining was a little less impressive. We’re very familiar with the...Wetherspoons menu and always rate it highly for the type of food they provide for the money. It was no exception this time and we enjoyed everything we had. However the service was dreadful. We waited ages on all occasions for drinks and food to arrive, and when it did come the waitress more or less dumped it on the table without any pleasantries at all. We used to live in March when the Hippodrome was the local cinema. Staying in Wetherspoons hotels was a regular thing before the pandemic. The Hippodrome is pretty much a standard Wetherspoons. Easy enough to find. There is a FREE council car park beside the...pub/hotel. First left past the pub or right just before depending on which direction you are coming from. The staff were polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Accommodation is in the old council offices next to the pub. Our room was large and airy. Unfortunately for the other half it only had a walk in shower, no bath. Food was standard Wetherspoons, but we'll cooked. The staff were quite happy to do table service rather than rely on the...
