"Met family for breakfast on a Saturday. Full English had greasy mushrooms and black pudding too hard.Also some had poached eggs on muffins and the eggs were not cooked through. Changed the order to smoked salmon which was revolting and thick and the scrambled egg was not light and fluffy was stodgy and heavy going made with cream apparently. No taste at all.We will not be going again and after complaining the bill was not adjusted!!"

We tried 3 local pubs to book a Sunday family lunch but all were fully booked. The Hinds Head had plenty of vacancies, this should have been a warning. The Staff were great, friendly and helpful, the decor a bit scuffed in parts but the food, a “Sunday Roast” was awful, largely pre-prepared I suspect, particularly the roast potatoes and beef. A great shame.
