Really great place to visit in the area. Recommend Christmas and New Years time. Great ambience; however, expect large crowds at dinner time no matter the day. Loud talking but expected for a Brauerei

We emigrated to Germany in and quickly found this place. The food was excellent, the beer and wine as well and we visited as often as we could. Since then we've moved countries again but take any opportunity to return to Hausbrauerrei Monchswasen

Been here twice and the food is incredible. The hefeweisen is the best I've had in the country. The restaurant is located in the countryside and the drive is gorgeous going to here from Sindelfingen. The grilled platter is awesome! Has a piece of steak,...turkey and pork with fries. The apple strudel is an absolute must to try. The ice cream served with it is incredible. Their service is great and the outdoor area is where I'd go if weather permits. Favorite place in the region to eat, hands down. It's worth the drive to come Voir le carte

Es ist schon eine Weile her, als ich das letzte Mal dort war und ich hatte das Essen gut in Erinnerung.Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.Mein Zwiebelrostbraten war ok, der Salat dazu war jedoch recht speziell - der Strunk war noch dran. Als Entschuldigung bekam ich einen Kaffee. Das muss ich sagen, habe ich selten erlebt, dass der Service so hoch geschrieben wird hier in der Umgebung! Meist wird man sogar noch angepflaumt, aber hier gab es keine Diskussion, nichts - echt klasse!Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind gut vorhanden und selbst kurzfristig, an einem Freitagabend, haben wir noch gut einen Platz gefunden.Gerne wieder!

Gotta tell you about my experience here. Stumbled across the place on a trip through the northern Black Forest. A micro brewery with a full blown kitchen German style. The beer tasted great and was brewed as fresh as can be. One can watch the...brewery whilst waiting for the food. Everything very German, efficient, stainless and inviting. The food was down-to-earth German Svabian style with Spaetzle being offered too. To my astonishment, the menu was packed with delicacies and they were really affordable. Canadian Buffalo (imported) topped the price range, but that protein must have been shipped here before one can dig in. Great salads too and a big outdoor dining terrace as well

We enjoyed our main courses but felt that the desserts weren't up to par. We also felt that the beer, which we had hoped would be a highlight seeing as it's a brewpub, was below average. However, what we found most disturbing was the fast-food...touch, which led to everything arriving so fast that it clearly wasn't made-to-order, and which also meant that, unless you wanted to hang around after your actual meal, there was no time for another drink. Odd behaviour, as one would think that slightly slower service might actually translate into more drink orders and therefore higher profits?
