Food is great reminds me of when I was a lad Fish and Chips in newspaper. Delicious. staff are very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble my son is a very fussy eater. But Jill Lockett made sure he was well looked after

The staff at Helen Gill's restaurant work incredibly hard and provide great banter, but the real star of the show is their amazing fish and chips. The food is always cooked fresh and delicious. Helen Gill and her team make a great duo.

Great meal. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Shown to a table and had a high chair brought to table for us. All had fish which was so white and tasty. Meal arrived soon after ordering. A lovely meal. Well done to the staff. Hill Erin Kie Helen

Service was good apart from one lady who served us who seemed to be annoyed once she took our order as we asked to pay separately. Food came quickly and was a decent portion. Chips could've been better . Battered sausage was really good,curry sauce pot could've been bigger. Will come here again.

Very disappointed. Food cold and poor hygiene lady that was serving food had very long hair tied up but know hair net on found long hair in mushy peas twice food was cold very small portions for the price very disappointed as I have had great Harry Ramsdens when going to service station on the motor way

Restaurant was empty bar two couples the two male members of staff completely ignored us while we waited to be seated so decided to find a table ourselves to then be told off by staff members for not waiting at the door, very rude and as a family we do not appreciate being shouted.We decided to leave and go have a meal elsewhere.Very disappointed we were looking forward to a lovely family meal, will not be returning.

The portions at this restaurant are very small and the quality is average. The large chips are the same size as small chips elsewhere, and the large cod is a standard size. It is also very expensive, so it's not worth the money. I would recommend saving your money and going to Murgatroyds in Leeds instead. We visited Murgatroyds the week before and it was the same price, but the portions were much bigger and the quality was much better.

Shocking service from looks like some kind of manageress. Received our food for outside with wooded forks and knives. Asked for tomato sauce for my grandchild was told no you had to pay 40p because I was eating outside ?? Went to use the one on the inside off shop free and was told ask what are you doing there for inside customers aren't I a paying customer your outside which means take away how ride . I also got baps one had green on it mold. Was not a nice experience. Fish was mainly batter . Not happy with service or food

I had not visited a Harry Ramsden's in over a decade until today, but as I was passing by, I decided to stop in for lunch. The service was fantastic from the moment I arrived! I was pleasantly surprised by the table service at this casual dining spot. I appreciated the option to order and pay via phone or by speaking to the staff, making the process easy. The food arrived at my table promptly, despite the fresh fish being cooked to order. The portion size was generous, the batter crispy, the chips chunky, and the offer of free water was a nice bonus. I highly recommend this place!
