The friendly staff, most who can easily speak English, serve the most rewarding dishes. Be it traditional German fare, or Turkish lamb fillets with a hint of German potatoes, it will always please!

We came here for a light lunch on our first day in Cologne and enjoyed what we had. Currywurst and Flammkuchen were both good and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and efficient. Location is handy.

Centrally located offering a good choice menu at reasonable prices. We had ruml steaks which were excellently cooked with a delicious peppersauce. Our daughter had baked tortellini with cheese. The staff were very courteous and we loved the service. Would definately visit again while in Cologne.

The restaurant is typical of small family-run places in Germany, a bar-like setting up front, and a small seating area in the rear. The food is amazing, prepared fresh and served with wonderful charm. The prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality, but it is not a bargain meal. I recommend walking the markt and taking time for a nice traditional German dinner here.

I had a dinner with friends on our first day in Cologne and we were all happy with their food. I ordered a schnitzel with mushroom which comes with mashed potatoes and salad but I asked the waitress whether I could have some cooked vegetables instead of the mashed potatoes and she told me it was fine. The restaurant was crowded with patrons and we enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere sitting outside enjoying the breeze in the restaurant. It took quite some time before we got our food but I think it's because the restaurant is packed so the service is a bit slow. Our foods were delicious! All of us truly enjoyed our meal heartily. The food portion was huge but we managed to clear the plates to spit... Voir le carte
