"GOOD FOOD TERRIBLE SERVICE I was looking for somewhere local to Wembley stadium. I had an overseas guest visiting who had tickets to a Wembley event. There were only 4 tables seated when we arrived. I had to ask could we order after 20 minutes of waiting. Whilst we were waiting for our starters another table (6 guests) were seated, orders taken and served. I chased our order. It took a total hour for our starters to arrive. Thankfully they were worth waiting for. Fresh crisp calamari, although unfortunately I was also given lemon mayonnaise despite advising I could not have any citrus. The cheesy garlic bread was also delicious. Very large portion, but you can imagine we were pretty hungry by this point. Meanwhile 2 other tables (2 guests and 10 guests) arrived and were served. I again chased our order. The table of 6 that arrived after us were served, had eaten and left before our main course arrived. The table of 2 and 10 also had their mains before us. By now were were running short of time and asked that our main course be brought as soon as possible, and not wait until we had finished our starters. That didn't happen. We had to ask again. The spaghetti bolognese was delicious, and would have been perfect with a sprinkling of parmesan, which we weren't offered. The lamb shank was not the best that I have had. The potatoes with which it was served were a little too watery, not the soft peaks that I was expecting. Although I had not been to Gusto before, the review online was positive, whilst warning about the slow service, which is why I allowed 2 hours. It took 2 1/2 hours, and that was with my questioning. It would have been far worse had I not done so. I can't imagine how bad it would be on a busy night. Perhaps that is why it was quiet on a Saturday night. When we went in I was impressed and hoped that I had found a new restaurant to regularly visit. Sadly it was my first and will be my last visit."

Everything was a perfect 10/10! The staff member (I can't remember his name) who shares a name with a footballer was fantastic and very attentive. He really enhanced our experience at Gusto. That's why I'll always come back!

This fantastic independent Italian restaurant offers exceptional value for money. The food is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and is beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is charmingly decorated, featuring a lovely little garden area. The attention to detail is unmatched. I would definitely return to sample everything on the menu!

When I arrived, there was no record of my reservation. They attempted to seat my party at a table that was too small, which would have made for an uncomfortable experience. The waitress was disengaged from the start, and neither she nor the manager offered any apologies. I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends and family, as it seemed like certain customers were prioritized over others.

In first instance receptionist lady told us is nothing available, seemed we are not welcomed however we are on road trip and one of our stops was Liverpool and we saw great reviews on food for this place, in just 1 min tables actually were available on open table, so we booked and was so embarrassing for her when we came in back and actually was available. Good great, lovely ambiance but seemed short staff delay on food, didn’t seem to be mo service around the way waiters clearing tables, resetting tables with bear hands, very load inside, chef screaming near the tables, very close and all waiters bumbling in the chair passing by… I guess hospitality industry in general went downhill is all...
