"Always sceptical visiting Indian restaurants outside the big cities. They tend to be a bit lame. Not in this case. Gurkha Express was a pleasant surprise. Great decor. Attentive staff and the food was absolutely top notch. I had a chicken tikka vindaloo with a side of lamb chops and pilau rice. Great portion of all including the rice. Pretty hard to fault. Took a bit of time to come but as it was great no complaints there at all."

Indian food can be hit or miss... but we took a gamble and it paid off. It was great! We got lamb vindaloo and saag paneer with Naan and both were delicious!! We were very happy

First time that we had been in this resturant for a takeaway the food we ordered was so nice I had Jalfrezi and my husband had Rogan Josh the portions were very generous will be going for a sit down meal soon

Six of us had a meal on Saturday night and the food and service was outstanding, we come here often to sit in and have takeaway but this was by far the best ever, we are not surprised it was as busy as it was with food of this standard. Voir le carte

Another great take away had from here this week and it ws absolutely delicious: impressed with my malai tikka starter and my lamb masala was delicious and melted in the mouth with all that flavour yum yum yum can't wait for next take away night lol

Ordered from here for the 1st time last night and I will definitely be ordering again. The food tasted great, it was piping hot on delivery, portion sizes are generous and the lamb I had in my tikka was very tender. Couldn't complain about anything. 100% recommend
