"The perfectly thin slices of meat came from a ‘packet’, as did the veg, along with what seemed to be pre frozen roast potatoes. It all tasted bland highly processed not a hot, cooked meal that a chef or somebody qualified watched over, hours before. I felt it was slung on a plate, blitzed in a microwave, then gravy was added. I’d paid extra for a selection of meats, but had the paper thin beef, boiled chicken turkey no lamb. If I were to be honest; after a few mouthfuls, i guessed the lamb would have been just as disappointing. It didn’t cost the earth before we were directed to our table we left most of it on the plates before making a hasty retreat. It wasn’t worth the bother of trying to get the money back for two very sub standard Sunday lunches. We won’t be giving this place a second chance."

Christmas lunch for 9 of us after golf and it was superb, a warm welcome and excellent food, Excellent value and the beers are kept well with a good choice .

The Sunday lunch at this restaurant was delicious, with homemade, fresh and generous portions. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. I would highly recommend this place.

FIRST CLASS. had a birthday meal for 6 yesterday 11th Feb .we all had steak .cooked perfect . As always .lovely friendly staff Karen always stops to have a chat . Hats off to the chef see you all soon .sue .

Sunday dinner amazing and food hot. Roast meat and variety of vegetables. Jug of gravy. Excellent service. Staff friendly. Sunday dinner was amazing, food hot, Lovely atmosphere.,Reasonable price.Would definitely recommend.

We usually go to the Greyhound for Sunday lunch when I don't want to cook. The staff are efficient, and have a sense of humour, and the food is good especially the gravy. You have to book for lunch as the restaurant is ALWAYS full for Sunday Lunch.

My family and I recently had an excellent Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The menu included options of lamb, beef, or chicken, and the vegetables were served in separate dishes and were plentiful. I highly recommend this pub, and they also have a great selection of ales.

Great food and service. Polite and helpful staff ordered me a taxi as I am visually impaired and buses are infrequent (only 2-hourly). Only complaint is background music : Rap and Hip-Hip do NOT suit the more-elderly Demographic who frequent this pub. PLEASE change it, Greyhound!

This is a great place to visit, whether you're looking for a drink or a meal. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are attentive. After your meal, you can relax in the fantastic beer garden, which is a perfect sun spot. This place has everything, including access to Sky Sports.
