"Another surprise in Tarquinia, for me obvious, the Gradinoro restaurant on the coast of Tarquinia, the place is really beautiful and carinissimo, the owner was of a unique courtesy finding us a table free for the time we arrived there. We didn't book, so I knew what I was up against. There are indoor and outdoor rooms with raised patio in a beautiful white wood where you can enjoy the panorama of the sea and the large beach facing. We immediately ordered the first and I must say the courses that were brought to the nearby tables were really exceptional and very abundant and after I can confirm absolutely the freshness of the fish and the goodness of the dishes. Surely there is to wait but it is worth it according to me, then I mean, on Sunday, with a beautiful day, you can also wait and give yourself a relaxed no!!!. Linguine to the cherry tomatoes and really good scampi, the pasta cooked to the tooth as I like, not the usual spicy cabbage paste. Risotto alla pescatora buonissimo, my daughter wanted a frittura di mare, I tasted and once so much a fry in grace of God, in fact she ate it all. "

We go there quite often always have the same bad experience…but there is no other restaurant opened during the winter season, so no option for the customer no competition for the restaurant. Pay with card as they never give the bill, unless specifically asked. Get ready to wait to eat even when booking in advance. Food is ok but overpriced. Voir le carte

Once in Tarquinia Lido by chance, we were 6 adults and 6 children... So let's figure out what a mess... very nice place sea view and very elegant decor. Great service, food on average nothing exceptional a good cellar. I tasted for the first time mussels and pecorino with hand-made dumplings Good also fried. PS the menu was reduced as we were in November...

It took us 1 hour to get two plates of pasta. Not a smile or an apology. The quality of the food is not bad but not even excellent. The worst is the service charge: on top of a bad service you pay 3€ per person. We spent 45€ for 1 glass of wine, 1 bottle of still water, 1 spaghetti vongole and 1 pasta with fish and tomato. They survive only because in Tarquinia there is no competition otherwise they would have already been out of business.
