"I like GGs but a couple of improvements would make it 5 stars all day long. Please have staff approach customers when they enter, don't keep us waiting forever, the last few times I've been they look over but so much as acknowledge us it drives me daft. I know they are busy but most of the time we arrive there are 2 or 3 of them doing very little behind the counter. Even if they could call over to say someone will be with you soon. Next up please find another way for the driving range customers to go. It's not a nice experience when you're trying to relax and have food and drinks having them troop through with their clubs (love golf so no hate here . Finally PLEASE start selling scones, you're the only coffee venue in the world that doesn't sell them, oh and put the sugar back on the table, one packet of sugar with my coffee isn't going to cut it and I hate having to ask for more. Still love GGs though :"

Terrible unfortunately. Took 10 mins to bring tea, then said there was a 30 min wait for a bowl of soup and a toastie! A tenner for a toastie and £6 for a bowl of soup and they think half an hour wait is okay? Absolute joke of a place.

We spent an hour or so at the Driving Range then sat down for lunch in the restaurant. We were looked after by Cameron, who was an absolute star, so polite, helpful and friendly! Portion sizes are plenty, everything was well cooked, piping hot and so tasty. The dining area is well kept, clean and inviting.

Waited at door to be seated for 10 mins while 2 girls at the bar chatted , husband enjoyed the philli baguette but my chicken toastie was sparse of chicken and very dry, overpriced and had better elsewhere . Golfers walking through restaurant when there is another access is not ideal either , disappointing .
