"Restaurant Bahnhofli Meiringen: We had dinner at this restaurant 8 out of our 9N stay in Hotel Meiringen. Conveniently located opposite the train station. The half board option offered to us (appertiser main dessert) during our stay was very reasonable and very substantial. We opted for 2 half board and 1 ala carte as the 3rd px could not finish the set dinner. Their creamy tomato soup is so far the BEST we have tasted in all our travels. So tangy and appertising. For mains, our favourite was the Sirloin steak, the pork rack steak. Their Cordon Bleu is really really good but small eaters may have a hard time finishing one on their own. Most of the mains came with a good amount french fries. The Pizzas were tasty although we would have preferred the dough to be a little less chewy but that’s just a personal preference. The lamb and chicken were tender although we wish there were a few more pieces. Compared to the other dishes, these seemed rather small helpings. Our fav dessert was the coffee ice cream. Good quality and fresh ingredients in their dishes in a cozy setting. It was such a breeze not having to hunt around for a good place to have dinner during our stay at Meiringen. The only thing that sometimes spoilt the meal times were the pesky flies that appeared off and on apparently it happens during this time of the year only and is not the fault of the restaurant as it is beyond their control. Thankfully, the dinner Service by Sherri, Nadine, Maria, Iva, Marc, Jessica was always so friendly and efficient and their wonderful service made dining such a pleasure inspite of the flies. Compliments to the boss of the restaurant the huge strappy chef whom we had some short chats with. Great food, great team!"

"Ein Bijou im Herzen von Meiringen Während unseres Kurzurlaubs im Hotel Victoria schafften es der Gastgeber und seine Mitarbeitenden immer wieder, uns mit ihrem tadellosem Service, aufrichtiger Freundlichkeit und diversen Aufmerksamkeiten zu verblüffen. Küche Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen, und was aus der Küche an den Tisch des gemütlich noblen Restaurants gebracht wurde, schmeckte vorzüglich! Die Qualität des Essens von Simon Anderegg und seinem Team ist wirklich bemerkenswert/exzellent. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet bot alles, was wir uns wünschten. Dieses wurde mit einem à la carte Angebot an Eierspeisen und Pancakes ergänzt, was wir besonders schätzten. Service Wir wurden stets zuvorkommend und charmant bedient und auch unsere «Spezialwünsche» wurden allesamt unverzüglich erfüllt. Zimmer Wir hatten ein eher kleines, aber hübsches, helles und mit persönlicher Note eingerichtetes Zimmer mit schönem Farbakzent. Das Bad war geräumig und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Einzig beim Bett hätten wir uns etwas mehr Komfort sprich: ein Doppelbett mit einer Matratze (Kingsize anstelle von zwei zusammengestellten Einzelbetten gewünscht. Allgemein Alles wirkte sehr einladend, sauber und wir bekamen direkt Lust, länger im Victoria Meiringen zu verweilen. Insbesondere die unermüdliche, super freundliche und herzliche Gastgeberfamilie war die Kirsche auf der ohnehin schon leckeren Torte. Wir haben es sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder! DANKE :"

"terrible. I bought 2 coupons on yourdeal for a total of 5 days. the first voucher was used partly with the hotel contract to buy a new one and spend other 3 days. the voucher was valid until ende november, so I decided to contact the hotel to use the voucher. they told me that they were on holiday until the 26th november it was not mentioned while I bought the vouchers so I lost 1 night because they asked me an overload of 120 chf! on a Monday! so yes, I am very disappointed, their service is equal to 0 and will not recommend to everyone of my friends or customers."

"Wir waren für eine Nacht auf dem AlpenCamping in Meiringen und fanden dieses Lokal über Tripadvisor. Wir mögen beide Sushi und wollte es ausprobieren und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen.Der Garten ist sehr gemütlich, die Bedienung schnell und sehr freundlich. Ausserdem war sie aufmerksam und hat direkt den nassen Tisch abgewischt, bevor wir die Menükarten bekamen.Unser Sushi-Set für 2 Personen wurde in einem Holzschiff serviert und war richtig schön angerichtet. Geschmacklich auch sehr lecker und zusammen mit einem Singha Bier ein toller Abend."

"Ganz ehrlich, das Essen hat das Restaurant vor einer tieferen Bewertung gerettet.Der Service war schlicht nicht gut.Die Bedienung hat uns kaum verstanden und hat eine Bestellung vergessen. Die bestellte Cola hatte keine Kohlensäure mehr. Die Serviceangestellte hat einem auch klar zu verstehen gegeben, dass sie so gar keinen Bock hatte.Danach kam ein Kellner der auch nicht sehr motiviert war. Einzig der Chef versuchte die Lage nocht etwas zu retten.Das Essen war lecker und das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis stimmte.Die Lage und das Ambiente versprachen deutlich mehr; schade, man könnte viel mehr daraus machen..."
