"The Allgäu as a hiking, holiday and guest destination is always beautiful and absolutely rewarding – mainly due to the hearty, hearty, hearty cuisine. My last tour led to Missen-Wilhams, near Immenstadt. So far a dark spot on my culinary map. The resort has 7 local parts and in fact a large selection of inns and inns. On our day of arrival we arrived shortly before 2 pm – and had already a strong hunger. As a lover of spicy food, I can be happy with coffee and cake. Thus, the afternoons are always difficult to bridge, especially in areas where the locals often run as family farms and the kitchen is closed for a few hours to open again at 5 pm or even at 6 pm. Fortunately, we had a success in the first attempt. The “Sonne” in Missen-Wilhams is located in a picturesque semi-high position. The impressive, stunning, generous building promises even more cosiness and homeliness. In good weather you can sit in a picturesque way, even on parking is not lacking. On our arrival, however, it was still so cool that we spoiled sitting. The impressive large but low guest room is dominated by bright floor planks and bright, friendly country house furniture. The room has a feeling of generosity and vision. In the middle of the room is a green tile stove, on the walls passenger portraits – probably from the ancestors and ancestors. Comfortable corner benches run almost all the way around the walls and on the chairs are rustic cushions. The “Sonne” is already managed as a family business in the fifth generation, very sympathetic and convincing as I find! We were very friendly and welcome, we were the only guests at this time. The extensive menu includes classics such as Wiener Schnitzel or Jägerschnitzel as well as salads and vasper or seasonal specialties such as roasted salmon steak with asparagus layout. My companion chose a tasty, spicy, but hardly to handle the crowd; I chose the Allgäu cheese puffs (9,60 Euro with extra salad). Unfortunately there was no Cola light. But the big water for 2.20 euros was nicely refreshing and tingling, but godlessly not too cold. Although I'm sure it's freshly cooked here, we have our food after just a quarter of an hour. As almost everywhere in the Allgäu, the cheese used as a strong, slender button, decorated with finely cut pitches, crowned by gently steamed onion rings. A physalis. I didn't want to give an exact answer to the cheeses used. It's a family secret. In addition to Emmentaler and Bergkäse, spicy Romadur or Limburger seemed to play with him. All in all wonderfully harmonious and harmonious, additionally very saturating. A green salad has been added (and this is actually tradition). In my case, with a spicy, crumbling marinade you would have preferred... After coffee – the big oat for cheap 3,00 euros – you served small chocolate snacks. A nice gesture: After the end of the meal, the chef (Thomas Gudermann, who completed his cooking class in a 5-star hotel) asked if everything was fine. We were also delighted with the youthful and warm service. Last but not least we had the guest rooms in the main house, which show what was immediately possible without any circumstances. Apparently, bright and friendly apartments can also be booked in an annex. In the next visit we could therefore imagine using this possibility. The open naturalness and convincing cordiality of the Gudermann family convinced us quickly. The glittering cleanliness of the house is also a big plus."

Since 1996, the family has obviously operated the traditional brewhouse in its own right. the saper promises all-sided happiness – shop distillery, brewery tours, tasting, bier tasting, culinary hospitality experiences of any kind, holiday and overnight offers, various packages. the overall conglomerate seems to me almost a bit like an allgäuer disneyland – perfectly staged, skillfully sophisticated, optimized for profit. the interior architects were able to enjoy an alpine landscape in the hospitable, as the tourist and a long awaited guest presents the rustic land life – naturally combined with the most modern technologies and chic materials. this overall concept seems to be a unanimous recipe for success, because the guests pour in amounts – especially the alcohol-related group experience seems to be good here and every square meter of the area seems to be optimally exploited. we were at the end of mai twice in our Allgäu house. once in the afternoon coffee and cake, once for dinner, but then with prebook. at both we had the pleasure of getting a large, cozy, rectangular table with circulating wooden benches in a niche for us completely. all rooms with their different adjoining rooms, winter gardens, etc. are perfectly decorated in alpine style. Here the interior architect has achieved best performances. so the hospitable, cozy and secret. the service also wears costume, high quality and style. the appealing menu has something for every taste: deft (all-gäuer onion pork roast for 19,80 euro homemade plate sulz for 7,50 euro), proven (pullet pork burger for 13,90 itself brutzeln in Brutzel-Eck for 19.40 euro), several suppen and salat variations, many broth times and also some vegetarian dishes. the hit are of course the local beer specialties, from light beer storage to unfiltered natural beer zwickl to the alcohol-free holder white. grandios is the triple scaffold, with unhearted fruity aromas, comparable to a trapist beer. the pompous bottle would, however, be more champagne than inhalt suspect. by the way, a great gift and gift. as a group we had a good overview of the entire food portfolio. the vegan crimsons in the salatbouquet (9,90 euro) of my side-seater were obviously not the hit – a lot of fibrous, contemplative things they read back. the fresh crust in dark beer sauce, with semmelknödel and salat for cheap 11,90 euro was enjoyed for it. the strong, dark sauce was created for hitting with emptying. also the super crispy pork sprout (apparently only on preorder and only on certain days) was very praised. the allgäuer kasspatzen was made with a large cheese mix of emmental, mountain cheese, limburger and white lacquer, but clear to dry. there is a lob for the creamy allgäu cheese cream soup with raw materials from the cheese mill thepolzer, refined with strong crumbs. 4,90 euro for the big part presented in an owalen porzellan marine was really cheap. "I am in principle skeptical for exaggerating landgasthaus-Seligkeiten and above all to speak host house-names. who once told me to visit a place with the subtitle “Zum singen Host”. by the way, too wrong in that case. now you can jump over your own shadow. especially if a good call and enthusiastic reports are almost gone by friends. “For funny deer” practiced landlust and tradition with a certain augence-enriched but serious professionalism. it feeds quite wonderful and especially excellent. only a pity that the gas house is so much in the pampa at a place of the city in the allgäu that they already have to be motorized. but my guide has actually realized that 2x also runs a bus daily. Maybe not the worst option if they think that not only beer, but also wee and weeping chor are served in big sticks. and the delightful offer of high percentage is read on every table at the stand. table reservation is easy to obligatory. as I was told, some evenings will take the tables 2-3 times in succession. because this is local. every Thursday is the night of the cat. the gas can participate in the production and then the mixture can be filled up to nix more. or the doctor comes. the cheese originates from the near cheese factory polzer – in the rule a rezente mixture of mountain cheeses of different ripening and emmental is used. the spikes are not scraped or pressed as in the Swabian, but with a special device. looks simple, but exercise can't hurt here either. this legendary home dish I did not plan myself, but with great joy myself destroyed 9,50 euro for the huge part, including small salat. the cats are served in a beautifully decorated ceramic bowl, which has such an enormous capacity to be framed that you simply have to fail. the service offers of course to pack the rest immediately. but what odeur would spread the doggy bag in the sunwarm car, I don't want to introduce myself. I therefore abstain. Unfortunately, the leaf salad tastes smooth and blown in a tasteless, aqueous dressing without aroma. That it was also different, I look at the neighbor – there are colorful mixed salads that suggest varied and creative arrangements. today is a large bottle of allgäuer alpenwasser, still, from the close-up – with the subtitle “s'bludde” for a change drunk. in high German: without carbonic acid 3,80 euro. after that is really necessary a digestion. the service is so reminiscent of cordiality, joy of life, openness and naturalness. ask will be honest and spontaneously answered, details will be resolved quickly in the kitchen if needed. everything goes quickly from the hand: this is enough of the menu to record the order, to use it and to take it off later. I never have to wait an unnecessary minute. in this case, the impression of hectic does not occur. it's just like smashing. on the way to the ordinary, rural toilet I can catch a view into the kitchen. looks professional, clean, super organized. they can also stay in the house. but I will refer to the homepage. in the summer months, a sunny panoramic terrace overlooking the mountains offers a magnificent view. the „Alpe Höfle“ is also part of the operation in the polz above the above mentioned mountain cheese and the mountain farm museum, which I have already reported here at the end of May 2017. there are also dedicated work, but there are only vesper, broth, coffee and cake."

"in the second half of the mai we were to visit with a 10-member hiking group in Missen-Wilhams. accommodation that we referred to “Beim Endeler” under the management of the family schmelzbach (vater, mutter, sohn, who works as a family business). the gasthof is located in a generously designed, bright building just a few years ago, which can still be built in some corners – behind it is the somewhat older house with several very cheap apartments. Although „Bei Endeler“ is located in the middle of wilhams, we had to look for the journey zig-zag and continue several times, so unclear here are the distances. a direct sign is missing, but the senior citizen has also described the local political rejections that could be attributable to these conditions in a future-oriented and communication-friendly manner. the parking space right in front of the house is only closed so far. in front of the pension there are also some parking spaces available. we chose “Beim Endeler” due to the personal recommendation of our hiking guide and were more than surprised. the native lives clearly from the exquisite cuisine of the highly praised and gifted juniors, which is the best foundations, experimenting with creative combinations and brings very high-quality eating on the table. a solid card you're looking for forgiveness. the current offer is on a simple Din-A-4 sheet. all couple days change the offer, but after no fixed rhythmus or system. when a court or some basic components go into the cough, simply new offers come to the menu plan. depending on what the season is. during our four-day stay we have experienced two different cards, but with small overlaps. the high level of the kitchen, the demanding quality of the dishes and the incredibly good price-performance ratio has convinced the whole group. often the parts were so luxuriant that we had to fit or at least had to fight hard. we can only hope that the culinary offer will remain at this high level. then we will come back in definitiw! besides a daily suppe and dessert are in the regular a fish dish, a vegetarian dish and 3-4 meat dishes in the program, always enriched with regional and/or seasonal products. in the first night we chose a highly aromatic curry mango cream suppe, fresh fruitiness combined with pleasantly sharp (4.90 euro). after the current trend, the suppe was served in a one-piece glass that brought the large golden yellow color well to gel. the pork fillet tips on the bottom frame sauce with grilled oyster mushrooms (13.40 euro were tender and fine, the sauce dark-cremig-aromatic. there were strong butterspetles. pricey and culinary as unbeatable heated we found the grilled oyster mushrooms with band noodles, fresh cherry tomatoes, refined with grated mountain cheese for 10.20 euro. a huge, saturating, hearty and harmonious combination. the oyster mushrooms were perfectly cubed and picked, had pleasant bites and perfectly connected with the creamy foam sauce with the narrow band noodles. the grated mountain cheese fell like baked.
