"No 100 meters after the departure from Hauptstr. (Koblenz-Olper-Str. is located on the route to Heimbach-Weis/Engers the Trattoria Sayn, one of the favorite locals of a critic colleague. This promised good performance, and since culinary variety is always welcome, it was worth our visit today. The place is quite worth visiting. A reservation on the weekend is absolutely recommended. Parking space for estimated 15 cars offers its own parking space. This was enough today, although we could only get room in a bar table with bar stools after a short wait, unfortunately not very comfortable. Access is level, the toilets also, even with narrow doors. There are one or two steps to the front room. On the left of the entrance is the Tresen, behind it the bar table section on the left from the exit to the terrace, also flattering. On the right, the main guest room lies on two slightly offset levels. Outside it should be a bit louder, due to the location on the access line. to a larger residential area. After we had climbed the high stools, there was a friendly greeting by the boss and at the same time the cards, as well as a cupboard with other offers. The typical dishes of a “Italian” can be found at reasonable prices. Exceptional dishes, homemade pasta and fish, can be found on the table. Some appetizers, 4 soups, 5 salads, a series of pizzas between 5,20 € and 9 €, pasta mainly between 7 and 8 €, meat from 10,50 € to Bistecca al Gorgonzola for 17,80 €. Mylady wants pizza bread with garlic 2 €, the pizza Funghi Salami 6,70 € and a Cola 1,80 €. My purer has the Carpaccio di manzo belated 8 €, in front of the pizza Salami, 6,40 €, shot and on the Pinot Grigio for 3,30 €. Although the restaurant is full of bar stools up to a side table, the appetizer reaches us very quickly. To align with the higher garlic level, I have to eat a quarter. The beef carpaccio is served with rocket, thin mushroom slices, parmesan pears, olives and 2 thicker lemon slices. More practical would be a thick lemon slice, the olives don't taste bad, but don't fit too well for me. A place of thin meat slices is still irritatingly very cold. Oil can only be found in homeopathic cans, but the necessary craftsmanship was supplied. The use of vinegar, a good oil and the pepper mill has a positive effect. Wouldn't the basic taste be the job of the kitchen? Also the similar pizzas are brought quickly. Optically as expected, on the edge crispy, the remaining soil thin, but does not pass. The reordered Tiramisu comes with 2 forks and tastes good, creamy, and is not a small portion for 3 €. Restoration for the waiting period? Service: The boss and a female service rock the shop. When fully equipped, they are likeselflink as well as the kitchen. The boss even finds time for the smoke break on the terrace and for most guests friendly words when coming and/or walking. There seem to be many regulars among them. The more tables are free and not reoccupied, the less attention becomes. A quarter of an hour passes until the plates are cleared, the post-order of Tiramisu is unsuccessful until I demand the invoice and point to the non-delivery. “Forget,” says the boss, an apology comes from the service power and quite quickly the delivery. Ambience: Transparable spatiality, theke and wardrobe in root wood optics, chairs with seat cushions, Italian music from the speakers, Eros stands out. The bar table area is not necessarily recommended from convenience. Conclusion: Recommended because of good and relatively cheap food and drinks"

"Auf Grund mehrerer Empfehlungen meiner Kollegen wollte ich dort zusammen mit meiner Frau an meinem Geburtstag gemütlich essen gehen. Leider stellte sich heraus, dass das Restaurant doch unerwartet groß und dementsprechend auch der Geräuschpegel war. Es gab eine reichhaltige Speisenauswahl wobei allerdings die Qualität einer Sachen zu Wünschen übrig ließ. Hierbei ist besonders das Sushi zu nennen, welches sehr gut aussah, aber der Eindruck entstand, dass es schon mal eingefroren war. Das angepriesene Live Cooking war gut organisiert, allerdings waren beide Gerichte teilweise angebrannt und nicht durch.Wir haben uns einfach mehr davon versprochen, sehr schade."

"Nach einer Wanderung waren wir zum Abendessen in den Lindenhof eingekehrt. Es war Sonntag und es war Muttertag und das Restaurant war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Dementsprechend dauerte es etwas länger bis wir unsere Speisen auf dem Tisch hatten. Aber das Warten hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Es war super super lecker. Das Fleisch auf den Punkt weich, das Gemüse zart ... es schmeckte wirklich absolut lecker. Dieser Koch braucht sich vor keinem Sternekoch verstecken. Nur die Preise dazu waren wie in einem normalen bürgerlichen​ Haus. Die Bedienung war, trotzdem es voll war freundlich, und das Ambiente war zwar nichts​ besonderes aber auch nicht unpassend. Mein Fazit: wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin gehe ich wieder im Lindenhof essen."
