A great local bar/café/music venue/all round night out! Lots of brilliant local musicians, full of people during the day and late into the evening. Always a brilliant atmosphere

Fantastic evening here. Lighting perfect, service brilliant, waitress remembered who ordered what, was very attentive and efficient, but not fawning! Food was fab, vegans, veggies and meats all ate handsome generous tasty food. SO GOOD! Voir le carte

Can’t fault this place. It is aesthetically stunning inside could have spent an hour just looking at the art. Shared small plates with friends and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend the arancini and the crumbed tofu. Good choice of wines and all reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back.

Great events, music is always groovy! First time having the Sunday roast today; a HEARTY portion. Expensive but delivers. Slow roasted Lamb was excellent. Gravy, full of oomph. Staff were lovely. My company thought the service was slow which was probably why the vegetables (red cabbage, two carrots and three peas) and potatoes weren’t singing songs of flavour. The potatoes lacked the fluffiness I’m after in the perfect ‘Tater. A cauliflower cheese is our litmus test for a good roast and so far, the best we’ve had in Bristol. Would go again

Oh wow where to start? The best Sunday lunch I’ve had in years (and I cook a mean Sunday lunch myself! The braised beef, a lovely surprise under the deliciously tender medium rare generous roast slice, was succulent, savoury, more ish and I’d love to have the recipe!!! The seasonal vegetable selection was fresh, beautifully cooked, plentiful and varied I counted at least five veggies as well as brilliant roasties. The yorkshires weren’t as crisp as I’d like but they were massive and tasty. I don’t ‘do’ dessert lol but when I read the description of the lemon curd, raspberry and shortbread pot I “gave in” and didn’t regret it!! Delicious end to a remarkable Sunday lunch!! Voir le carte
