"this restaurant is perfect to visit after seeing the meissen museum as it is very close. the employees do not speak much English so they have to come to some basic German. the prices are very reasonable, fall around the brand....There are many pasta and pizza dishes to choose from. we had two pizzas and two pasta dishes that were all the same good. we were here on a Saturday in winter, and we were the only people there, although it was what was very nice."

"After I had to experience my waterloo at my hotel booking in the wetauer landhaus and I got nothing to eat there, a very nice and pretty mesner gave me the tipp to go to dinner here. I was starved, and my evening seemed to be a good one. so, very nice staff, very fast and very attentive.5 I earned star-soiled again in meißen station, I will book my room 100% here."

"Together with our friends we have booked a “seedy beer tour” through a bit, measurable diplom, where we came to taste through all kinds of gastrosen and get to know the most diverse Saxon beer varieties, but also learn more about the history of the Saxon brewery. after a tour through the meißner old town and a trip to the albrechtsburg we were all quite hungry. but also the organizer had thought about it, and so our last station was the "gasthaus zu altstadt" in the heart of meißen. this is a rustic restaurant, rustically furnished, which offers mainly Saxon food. but also for the tourist who do not want to eat so dedicated is thought. After our nearly 30 men and women arrived in the gas house, there was a big staller „Freiberger Pilsner“ to greet. the already at the beginning of our tour selected meals were then after a few minutes also at the place. we chose the gulasch with red cabbage and knock twice as well as the blackshaxe with kartoffels, sour spreewald meerrettich and built screed. all four parts were plentiful, gulasch with red cabbage and knock the gulasch pleasantly soft and spicy. the red weeds more from the wholesaler. the knocks again homemade and well steamed. a small supplement made of möhrenraspel and a piece tomate. sashshaxe with kartoffels, sour word, spreewald meerrettich and growzner senf the haxe crispy fried, in the inner rather tender. the delicate spicy and very crispy. I'd rather have forgotten the potatoes, I'd rather have had a good fresh bread. the herb was apparently made. not like the eternal weed in other gastroses. hearty, sour, with abundant cumin. the fresh, sharp sea radii and also the sharp farmer's pale fit perfectly to the hot. here again the fresh möhrenraspel and the small tomate. we were served by the chefin. friendly, a cute word on the lips, flotts and always with the eyes on the hospitable. We never had to wait long for the beer feed. the house and the toilets were neat and clean. there's nothing to mock. Conclusion: the hearty, smiling kitchen. the wetin with the mouth at the right place. the restaurant rustic and cozy. they have fun!"
