"This is not a place that sprang up yesterday-it has been here for a time; it is obvious when you glance at the ceiling and the cobwebs are festooned like the fishnets used to create atmosphere. There is a large non-functioning fountain taking up floor space. At least the bathrooms are clean. Now: the food. Salmon is a simple fillet to cook, and yet my two thin portions arrived raw in the thickest parts AND the waiter took one look at what was left on my plate and told me it was not cooked. No surprise there so it has happened before. The mixed vegetables that adorned the plate along with my undercooked fish were so tasteless as to seem frozen. I did see actual raw carrots being prepped in the kitchen so maybe they were just terminally overcooked? Either way they were a waste of time on the plate. The dorado was very well seasoned and prepared in comparison but was a very small portion and also had the useless veggie side. The starter of grilled peppers were not fresh peppers but previously pickled. No excuse in a city with several vibrant food markets indoors and out within easy walking distance. Dessert which came with the meal was unspeakable in presentation and not at all fresh. The strawberries on my square of cake looked desiccated with age.If you are going to cook and serve food to the public at least serve it in a clean atmosphere and serve it fresh."
