"We arrived traditionally late for our reservation. We'll it's a tradition with us anyway and instead of being peeved the landlord soon rearranged things to make us comfortable in the Bar .I was going to be glad about this as 8t enabled me to eavesdrop on the Bar Leaners who proved conclusively that if Central Casting find themselves short of locals for the Bull at Ambridge they need look no further . In fact the scriptwriting team at The Archers could learn a thing or two about Village Pubs if they spent some time here . More importantly they could get a dose of reality on the dietary front because this pub does Sunday Lunch like its auditioning for Best Sunday Lunch Award 2022. Generous pile slices of roast Rib of Beef and a Mount Vesuvius sized Yorkshire Pudding impressed my Daughter whose Birthdaywe were celebrating she's a Chef and me ,and I'm a Beefeater well I look like one .Excellent Gravy too . Similarly the roast Pork obviously came from a contented Old Spot and the Crackling was more Crackly than a forest fire . It's my Birthday soon and I'm already running a Campaign to return . Absolutely brilliant with a real open fire too and No Daft Music"

"The selection of soap in the ladies loos was impressive unfortunately the same cannot be said about the organisation of the kitchen!A 2.30 reservation and dinner served at 4pm. !! The person responsible for the reservations needs more training or perhaps the management should accept if they haven’t sufficient staff to do the job well it’s okay to turn the reservation down for another time/ in this instance we will not be visiting again all beit we live locally To finish on a good note the young man serving did his best in a situation he had no control over"

"We stayed for three nights and could not fault it. We had the Country Room which was on the front and very bright, clean and comfortable. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, all with a good sense of humour. Shout out to Magdalena, Laura and Jo, and all the staff whose names we didn’t get. The lovely ladies who clean the rooms and to the flower lady, who, when I informed the hotel of my severe allergy to lilies, made sure than none were to be seen in the arrangements around the hotel. Breakfasts were lovely. Ordered the day before, some of it was already on the table when we arrived in the restaurant, which was nice. Teabags!! The best! None of the week stuff often left in hotel rooms. The only constructive criticism is that the menu could maybe have a few more choices in the evening. However, this comment does not lose them any stars! Food was superb. We would definitely recommend to friends."

"During our visit to the gardens, we decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant. The menu had a variety of hot meals that all seemed homemade and delicious. The chicken one pot was filled with fresh vegetables, the baked potato was soft and fluffy, and the egg mayo rolls were a generous portion. The ordering process was a bit confusing as the tills were in a cramped area causing customers to mingle instead of forming a proper queue. However, the service was quick and efficient, and we were overall impressed with our experience."

"Visited the Ebrington Arms many years ago and was impressed. I'm please to report nothing has changed. It's a charming pub in the Cotswolds that serves great food but it still a pub, with a welcoming pub atmosphere and good beer. They also accommodated my son's food allergies with no fuss something that often makes eating out as a family problematic. Highly recommended."
