Flock Cafe - Carte

the cafe was very busy, but there are many seats in the open. eating is particularly delicious the vegan toastie.

This is a very nice and cosy coffee shop. Hidden away next to the main road, westumbled upon this place by mistake one weekend. Looking forward to a sunny summer morning coffee and scone in the courtyard.

First time visit and it was wonderful! We had brunch and the meals were lovely, the cake was delicious and the service was top drawer. The surroundings were lovely, it was our first time and we will definitely be returning. Top quality ingredients used and cooked/prepared perfectly. Thank you we will be back! Voir le carte

delicious lunch in the flock cafe. I had a buddha bowl. it was presented beautifully; a rainbow of colors. there were grains, lenses, halloumi, edamame borons, beet root, poched eggs and avocado. it was a joy to eat, so full of taste and texture and so sad to finish it! my friend had mushrooms on sourdough toast with chopped eggs and a parsley sauce that she declared as amazing. I went to burwash for retail therapy and the most beautiful lunch. thanks at flock.

Visited here last weekend for breakfast and loved it. Ordered from the menu on our way in and were seated straight away. The building is cute and the décor is really well put together with some nice Christmas additions. Our food came quickly and was delicious, I had the Burwash breakfast and my partner some French toast which she really enjoyed. We both had a tea and made sure there was room for some lovely cake afterwards which were apparently all homemade. Overall it's a great café if you're in the area and it was nice to pop to the surrounding shops afterwards to grab some bits too. A great little find and we will be back again soon for sure

I don't usually complain about coffee shops, they are what they are, but we stopped here for a well earned cup of tea recently and have to say we were disappointed. We were expecting for £4 (for 2 people) at least a whole pot of...tea. We were presented with 2 cups saucers, not very big cups at that the cups were not even full. Literally 4 small ish swigs the tea was gone! £4 I thought was pretty much extortionate. I would have happily paid that for a pot with cups saucers or even 2 large ish mugs, but this certainly was not good value, plus it seemed to take about 20 minutes to make???? They were not overly busy given the meagre offerings, it could have been done in half that time. Voir le carte

we ordered two roasted sandwiches, two pieces of cake and two coffees and paid after required by card. half an hour later and no food or drinks I noticed that other people who had ordered us had their food and drinks. I did not want to ask after a flur of the run over the place of stay of our order, the order “not going through” (not our payment, but the request for food said.) much fold and scurrying around us said, forget the order only refund of the card uuops could not do that, as the manager was not there, but offered us cash much assist and scurry ." to leave such a shameless, unqualified young worker in a situation that they could not solve. will not be back, but would like a response...

The cafe here is the only one on site. What is unusual is if you want to eat inside (available bad weather only currently order and pay before sitting down. The cafe is still using disposable dishes and cutlery. I think this is to reduce...a chance of being shut due to being pinged by the NHS app. The chocolate cake is good, but the cappuccino barely had any froth, some nice chocolate. I will say they could do better with cappuccino, basically no visible froth. I paid £3.00 each but they could at least make froth that sits on top. I visited here a few times and feel like it's time I left them a review. the caffe is in a great location, surrounded by some nice little shops in the Burwash manor. the caffe itself has a large (and quite large) sitting area. Outside, where the weather is good and also a series of interiors for these rainy days. at the moment they have to order when they are from the menu that we do more than happy. during Covid times they would hardly want to touch a menu anyway. the food I had there has always been excellent, special favorites are the Burwash breakfast and the Turkish eggs.
