One of my favourite Brasseries. And this one in Berlin. The food is outstanding. I was never disappointed, always surprised and have been returning over the past 10 years. Great atmosphere.

Steaks were good fillet def better than entrecote. Coq au vin was amazing. Charges for water were outrageous. Fries were delish. Wine also great. Expensive by local standards, but good food for sure. A popular restaurant close to Checkpoint Charlie, serving mainly French cuisine Whilst not cheap, the food was exceptionally high quality with their steaks being of particular note. Went there with the family for dinner during Christmas holidays. Selected it rather randomly, as it was close to our hotel and had good reviews. Didn't regret it all! So much better than all other experiences with german (trad or not) restaurants in this trip....In summary: Food was good. Meat dishes very good, onion soup good, only the ceasar's salad was below par. Ambience of the room nothing special, but overall inviting and warm. Staff quite friendly, although a bit slow to respond -possibly because the place was fully packed. Value for money good, at less than Euros per person. We all felt it was worth visiting again and recommending to friends.

We decided to visit Entrecôte on our final night in Berlin as it was not far from our hotel and had solid reviews. We didn’t book (Friday night) but they managed to squeeze us in nonetheless. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious. We both...had the sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection. Dessert was also tasty we had the tarte Tatin and the chocolate fondant. However, we were very disappointed with the service. No check back after our mains were taken or care, even no eye contact when we were given the bill. It was just slapped down on the table as the waiter passed. Very slapdash! On all accounts we had a nice meal as the food was great but let down by rude and careless staff. Voir le carte
