"We had dinner for two in Emporio. For the interior, one would probably not pick this restaurant as it is old fashioned. However, it has a great atmosphere and the food is very good with different fare than you will find in the standard Italian...restaurant. As a starter we had pasta and carpacio. The pasta was great; the carpacio was a litlle bit too cold. It must have been frozen. Our main course were great. The restaurant has a great selection of reasonably priced fish. Our fish was cooked to precision and served without bells and whistels. The restaurant has a small selection of also reasonably priced wine. The service is very professional. All in all, a nice little gem of a restaurant in the Neuhausen neighbourhood."

we had an excellent oktopus carpaccio as starter and a pasta with a fantastic sauce and calamaris from grill. it was really fantastic. a wide selection of good one of italy!

I have eaten many paints in emporio and the restaurant has never disappointed me. that was the first time ever since a year I came back. the pasta with truffle was excellent and the sole of the grill was just as it should be. the prices are. still very reasonable. the personal is very attentive. the place was full (as always) and reservation is required. highly recommended.

My second visit to Emporio Italiano was as good as my first. We've live in Munich for over a year and admittedly are tired of Bavarian fare. Munich is crawling with good Italian restaurants, but a visit to Emporio Italiano really feels like being in...Italy. Service is excellent and cheerful, and the food is delicious: quality ingredients prepared as though by Nonna. Go for the truffles.

This little restaurant is a gem. Excellent food for a price way below other quality restaurants and just slightly above pizza places. Their Men can always be recommended, for a little over you will get excellent food. Other places I visited charged times as much for comparable food. The owners are really friendly, the wine card is above average and the truffles are fantastic, when they have them.
