"The Sant Roc has been part of Calella de Palafrugell for 70 years. It has the best location on the Costa Brava with stunning views of the beaches, town and Mediterranean. El Balcó is an elegant restaurant serving an innovative, fresh and beautiful menu. The food was fabulous, the views stunning and the service excellent. Our starters include Scallop Ceviche with chilli sorbet, and Tuna Carpachio with asparagus, pickled onions and a citrus infused sauce. For mains, we both chose a variation on Turbot. One pan fried with fried vegetables and the other, oven baked fillet of Turbot with baked tomatoes and potatoes. This was simply beautiful. Matched with a delicious dry Cava the meal was exquisite. Dessert was a local yoghurt style creamed cheese with honey abs pistachios, and our other choice was a chocolate tart with cherries, peaches in green tea. Accompanied by a glass of C. Tuyttens Sauterne both desserts were a fitting denouement to an elegant meal. Given we didn't stint on anything, €117 for two, represented good value. Again, the staff were excellent, the views from the Balcó stunning and the location perfect. A rumbling electrical storm finished the night perfectly."

great men go to try the sea urchins but for the inclemences of time they do not have the same, and offered us an alternative fantstica -gambas de palams and excellent treatment. all staff very attentive and professional. quality products and price more than correct. wonderful views. In short: an absolutely recommended place.

I received a gift of box-surprise stay at hotel and we booked here because it was available. the hotel is familiar and built in 1955, and is recently renovated. the site is fabulous, overlooking nature, the sea and the cove of calella. a marvel. It has a restaurant. the garden terrace for breakfast is great. very pleasant service. we will try to repeat.
