Called in after a walk up Rivington. Lovely selection of small plates with some excellent craft beers. Holly very welcoming and pleasant. Recommended.

Booked for Sunday lunch got the roast dinner with all three meats. Absolutely beautiful food. I loved the nice touch of daufenoir potatoes rather than mash. Nice choice of ales and wines. Lovely oldy Woldy pub

This restaurant in Chorley is exceptional. I recently had the Sunday lunch and it was delicious. I ordered a steak which was cooked perfectly. The manager is very attentive and ensures that everyone is well taken care of. This is definitely one of my favorite places to dine. Voir le carte

Best Fish Chips I've had in years. We are regular visitors usually have the 2 steaks wine midweek offer. This time we opted for the fish chips. The large piece of perfectly fried fish in a light batter, excellent triple cooked chips real tartere sauce were perfect. We will definitely have it again.

I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. I ordered the pear and goat cheese salad, which was incredible. My husband had the steak and ale pie and also enjoyed his meal. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning next time we are in Chorley. The service was excellent as well. Thank you so much!

Fab steak sandwich ! Not been to Dressers for ages but was really impressed by the food . The Fillet steak sandwich for £14 was worth every penny and the chips were great too . This is a very nice pub with a really good selection of ales, but the star is the food which is truly exceptional. We’re on holiday in a rented property nearby and we’ve come here twice already we came back today for the Sunday roast and it was superb. We often eat at pubs, the Dressers is literally the best food we’ve had.

So Disappointed!! ....came after walking for their fabulous and delicious Fillet steak sandwich X2 with Chips .Arrived at 10 past 5..Told Stopped serving sandwiches at 5 pm .....st £14 per sandwich and chip at £5 .....don't understand them l losing nearly £40 in revenue in these difficult times ...and us going hungry !!! I went to the restaurant on a Friday afternoon at 3pm for an early meal. I ordered the rib eye steak and my wife ordered the cod lion Kiev. The cod lion was delicious, but unfortunately, the rib eye was not. It was full of fat, which I mentioned to the waiter. He said he would report it to the chef, but he only spent a few seconds in the kitchen and likely did not have enough time to address the issue. Additionally, he forgot our order and had to try to remember it instead of writing it down, resulting in our onion rings arriving late and my steak being cooked rare instead of medium rare. Despite these issues, I still like this pub but it may be some time before I return for food. Voir le carte
