Dragon Inn - Carte

Not great .. but it's only a takeaway so go there if you're desperate for Chinese food. Staff are ok but cooking could be better.

Absolutely love the Dragon Inn, in Chatteris! Amazing staff, always really friendly and thoughtful : and delicious food…the ribs are to die for!! My ‘go to’ Chinese!

Lovely Chinese, makes a nice change to find somewhere that does Tofu dishes, seems to be rare around the local area. The veg chow mien could do with a bit more seasoning, but still lovely!

Love house special chow mien.Usually quick service but at peak times can take while. Food is always good and tasty. Wifes favourite is Hong Kong style sweet and sour. Will keep going back.

Friendly staff, Takeaway just been decorated looks much tidier. Great Chinese food , one downfall they dont and the only other chinese in Chatteris dont deliver, would do a roaring trade if they did . Voir le carte

The food is good, but thats as far as it goes. Service (phone collection) is average at best and I have had at least 2 mistakes made inb the oprders with a very rude phone mannerism on one occasion when I called back to see what was going on I don't appreciate abuse in Chinese language on the phone. I was a regular customer, but not now!!!

Decided on a change from my usual kung po chicken so opted for beef in black bean sauce with green peppers and wow will definitely be ordering it again at some point. Beef was lovely and tender while the peppers were nice and crisp. My wife chose chicken balls with curry sauce and we both had an egg fried rice to go with it along with a portion of chips, yes we were hungry but it certainly hit the spot and plenty left over for a quick lunch time meal the following day ! The Dragon Inn is the Chinese for me in Chatteris !!

Placed an order over the phone and collected it within 10 mins which for a Monday night is pretty good I would say. Ordered a Kung Po chicken without the water chestnuts but with the cashews, a beef with green peppers in a black bean sauce, 2 portions of egg fried rice a a portion of chips. Having had problems in the past I always double check the order before leaving the shop but all was okay this time . Food was nice and hot and plenty of it, even to give us a second meal the following day for lunch, minus the chips Only wish they would get a card reader for payments as cash only is a bit of a pain and I keep trying to persuade the owner to get a reader. ...oh well maybe one day !
