However, the staff at the counter could be a bit friendlier, and it would help if they clarified their menu offerings. For example, I was given some scraps on my chips, and I had no idea what that was about, which was quite confusing since I've never been offered that before."

The restaurant is very well organized in line with Covid-19 restrictions. The fish and chips are excellent and offer great value. The line of waiting customers is a testament to how worthwhile it is to dine here.

Bit of a wait but the fish and chips were absolutely cracking. Manager was getting flapped with keeping everyone equal distant in shop and kept safe so he was getting stressed. But the staff were helpful enough and the fish and chips were cracking. Worth it on cold choppy day by the sea.

Excellent fish ,,chips average, the childrens menu very good but let down by not including pensioners,, very stern about this) called in with my Father who is 89 and cant eat an adult portion so most was wasted , pity spent £40 for three at lunch. Staff extremely rude!!! Did not understand about gluten intolerance!! Would not trust gluten free chips as cross contamination happened in front of my eyes. When asked if they could not use the same scoop for gluten and non gluten the staff member looked blankly at me and did not understand my concern. Crazy!!!
