On the occasion of our daughter's birthday we were in the village fountain. Eating and hosting were very good.

In order to celebrate my passed driving license, I wanted to make the evening cozy and tasty with my family. Not only the staff was friendly, also the food was very good. Even as a vegetarian I came here at my expense.

Through a weekend getaway in the Saarpfalz district we found this beautiful restaurant, off-road, in the old town of Kirkel. During our visit we first noticed the stylish, cosy ambience and a very ambitious service staff. Quality and taste of the dishes we ordered left nothing to be desired. Only later we learned that this award-winning place has been one of the potavorites of insiders for more than thirty years. We're coming back...

We discovered the village fountain because we had no desire for resting places and are very enthusiastic about this find. The small descent and detour is definitely worth it, the spacious, friendlyly furnished restaurant is located in the middle of the residential area and offers enough parking. The team is warm and serves delicious regional dishes in very good quality and great value for money. We are particularly surprised by the good selection of wines and the excellent bottle price with a very moderate impact for gastronomy.

Great salads, fried salmon on the point, a cordon bleu that makes his name all honor and make Spagetti the right pleasure for the Camargue, so you can really enjoy. First the positive statements: The service is very attentive and nice. The ambience in the restaurant is also pleasant. Otherwise I don't understand the very good reviews of the food in the restaurant. We ordered a cream carving and a marinated steak with garlic sauce, each with a salad. The green salad on the salad plate was mostly cloudy, the rest ( carrots, white wort and croutons and salad sauce) felt from finished production. I had ordered an open red wine to eat that came out of a broken big bottle and tasted accordingly.
