"The first time I went to this restaurant was in 2004, recommended by Genaro, a charming gorrilla from Naples, who told me to order the Spaghetti alle vongole. There wasn 't even a sign outside the restaurant, thank goodness for Genaro 's explanations, if not, I can 't find it :-DDD IT WAS WONDERFUL Then, every time I 've been to Naples and La Campania (and there have been several because I love it), I always reserve a day to go to Don Antonio (the second time it already had a sign outside) Always great, always good, always improving, always, always... I hope to return soon, I miss it."

We entered this restaurant by chance while we were walking around Pozzuoli and we immediately felt at home, they made us sit right away even though we hadn't booked and the place was full. The location is very nice. The waiters are very kind and friendly. Fresh and delicious fish, but the pizzas are also fantastic. I highly recommend it. Voir le carte

We went a couple of days ago for dinner. Really lovely place, welcoming and very clean environment! We tasted several fish starters and first courses. Happy with both the quality of the food and the bill, well done! Oh forgot, excellent location near the port of Pozzuoli, convenient for parking and post-dinner passage. Not having booked in advance we sit at the table (a little cramped for 3) on the street, but in a very characteristic and quiet alley near the old port. I wanted to try the paccheri with amberjack which I didn't appreciate that much, unfortunately I don't have a photo but the portion was paltry, barely 10 paccheri and the amberjack inside too. I understand the competitive price of 14 euros but I would see something again. For the second courses there was an excessive wait, better than the first courses, more adequate portions and good flavor, swordfish, anchovies and squid.

"Non è la prima volta che andiamo in questa pizzeria , ma mai di sabato , eppure proprio sabato scorso ci siamo recati , ovviamente con una prenotazione .All entrata del locale vengono eseguite tutte le norme per x il Covid . Siamo stati accompagnati al tavolo , e devo dire la verità essendoci parecchie persone io ero perplessa , un po’ per il servizio , ma anche per la qualità della pizza .Abbiamo ordinato delle frittatine , per me ho assaggiato FRITTATINA PAGLIA E FIENO (Tagliatelle paglia e fieno, speck, noci, taleggio, provola di Agerola, parmigiano reggiano DOP mesi, pepe nero, besciamella) e per il mio ragazzo invece FRITTATINA SORRENTINA (Gnocchi, ragù, parmigiano reggiano DOP mesi, provola di Agerola, besciamella , assolutamente da assaggiare , buonissime ! Come pizza questa volta abbiamo optato di scegliere anche i drink che loro consigliano , e per altro le pizze vengono distinte in : a rota e carretta” una pizza enorme che esce fuori dal piatto , oppure “contemporaneo”, L impasto di pizza che attualmente in tutte le pizzerie troviamo , e specifico che a me non piace !Io ho preso una MARGHERITA con il drink consigliato Only Basil, buonissimo al basilico , fresco, dolce, un mix di sapori perfetti anche x la pizza , il mio ragazzo invece ROSSO E NERO (Salsiccia di maiale a punta di coltello saltata al brandy, pomodoro confit, fonduta di provolone Del Monaco olio evo DOP Pregio basilico) con il drink abbinato Ginger Imperial Le pizze assolutamente buonissime , sia L impasto , ma soprattutto la cottura , non ho mai mangiato di sabato sera una pizza così buona ! "Very nice ambience. The restaurant is located in an old construction near Baia's port. You eat in the middle of an old courtyard, feeling like you are back in the 1950s. Very good tableware. A bit less comfortable is the entrance, as the place is right on the street, very busy and dangerous on saturday night. Service is good too, just a bit harrassing with waiters explaining every dish with long descriptions one forgets the second lates they finish. That is part of an atmosphere the owner wants to be classy and elegant. The problem is that food is not at the same level. I mean, it is good and fresh, especially raw fish, but preparations are too standard to justify an averagely high price. In a table of 7, we had cold and hot starters including raw seafood and one main dish (paranza fried fish for some and catch of the day for the others), plus 5 desserts and white wine. I believe 310€ are a bit too much for what we had, not really in terms of quantity, but for the quality of the preparations. One example is the cold starter: a dish composed by 5 different starters to be eaten from left to right, from lighter to stronger taste. You start with one single raw sea truffle, go on with a tuna tartare, one single raw baby red shrimp with burrata, raw calamari slices and finally smoked salmon. Good quality and right taste, but nothing new, no special work from the chef, that's food you can find in every good-standard restaurant in the area of Naples. Same with the fish we had: too simple. In my view, simplicity is a positive value in food, but not for a place that wants to construct its own style on a classy and elaborate (and expensive) cuisine concept. Different situation concerning the desserts which I personally didn't try but left my friends with very good sensations. In conclusion, it's worth a try, can be good for a romantic tête-à-tête or a dinner with friends, but don't expect a special experience."
