My daughter I both had the Steak Kidney pie with mash, vegies gravy. The pies were delicious, very full and beautifully baked. Mash veggies good too. Overall a very good meal. Would visit again.

We visited for lunch. Service was very friendly and seating comfortable. There was plenty of space between table as well. The space inside is huge. They have a good beer and wine selection. To eat we had the mushroom stroganoff, fish cakes, pie of the week (steak) and the apple crumble. All the were excellent with plenty of vegetables. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. In all a nice dining experience.

We have often visited this pub as we live nearby. All during the 6 nations there is flags and a board outside advertising the games. We decided to go here for the last game of the series. We watched the end of the Scotland v Italy game which was fine. Once the bar man changed over to the Wales v France game it was stopping and starting and shocking bad reception. The lady there tried her best to fix it to no avail. The game was unwatchable. We contacted the rest of the group to inform them, finished our drinks and got a taxi into wokingham to watch the rest of the games ahead.
