I went to loddon and decided to try an Indian restaurant. I am so glad we did! The food was really good value, delicious, and impressive. The quality was excellent and the dishes were perfectly seasoned. Thank you.

had a great curry during the stay in loddon. all the dishes we ordered were in front of location small restaurant, which was quite busy when the night went. waiter and what looked like the owner was both very friendly.

Just visited tonight Tuesday) had to comment . Although quiet many takeaways going out . We are on a boating holiday moored at Loddon . A few other boaters in I think . Staff friendly order prompt food excellent… as a curry lover I...would highly recommend. Voir le carte

The meal was excellent and truly delicious. The service was quick and friendly. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The restroom was clean. The price was very reasonable and the food quality was excellent. This was the best meal I've had in years. I would rate it 10 out of 10.

delicious food and at a very reasonable price. I ordered a takeaway and collected 15 minutes later. I had the prawn madras, say windshield wipers, mushrooms and peshwari naan. the naan was fluffy and light, really good. the sachet...wow, creamy, rich...sensational the curry was excellent and the fungus was a great accompaniment. I recommend the raj.

We ate at this restaurant the last time we came to the norfolk broads, and it is just as good as it was then. We all had different mains with pilau rice, pashwari nan and onion bajis. The food was well presented and tasted great,...as did the bottle of merlot. The service was excellent. Overall, it was good quality and value. We rocked into Loddon on a hire boat and headed straight to The Raj. Currently it's doing take away food only due to the Covid restrictions but what great food it was. If I have one slight negative, the rice portions were the smallest I...have ever had from an Indian take away. Can't imagine they do two sizes in portions of rice unless they are starting a trend. Also, the onion barji's looked a tad small too.

Having relocated Chedgrave 2weeks ago tomorrow (yay) and having know of The Raj for some years as dad lives in Loddon yet never offered to buys takeaway. We decided to order a takeaway in the first few days of our house move from Leicester. Great...tester for an Indian restaurant is the Bhajee, The raj bahjee fookinphenominal, extra spices in never tasted before. 2 curries 1 Peshwari Naan and Garlic rice, two happy boys. Two days later we had to order again, tried different curries and again, blinking gorgeous. By far, the bestest ever in the world, my mouth is watering whilst typing this, thats how good it is.

Unsure if management has changed recently. Ordered raj balti experience. Not only did the king prawn special turn up with chciken and lamb minus the king prawn, the naan was also missing despite confirming that it comes with the meal on the phone when ordering....After calling the Raj to let them know they had made the mistake and they need to pop one over to me (I live 1 mile from the restaurant) their reply was they would give me a free one with ny next order. I explained like most people that enjoy a takeaway at weekends after a hard week. I would prefer to enjoy the meal I ordered.
