"Loved everything about this pub, staff were amazing (Ashley our server was brilliant) to match the food, we drove down from Aberdeen back to Wales and popped in for a bite to eat (what a great find). Staff were so lovely they allowed us to stay in the carpark in our motorhome overnight (allowing us to have a few bevvies after a long day driving), I cannot recommend this pub highly enough, so if your passing definitely call in, we’ll worth it and will be coming back when in the area"

"J'ai le regret d'écrire cette critique car j'avais été un grand fan de nombre, malheureusement, nous avons partagé un plateau de partage de bœuf qui était la viande très grasse et les pommes de terre étaient sèches comme si elles avaient été autour depuis un moment. En dehors de cela, c'était une belle expérience mais je ne reviendrai pas en raison de la qualité de la viande, je ne sais pas si nous venons de recevoir un mauvais lot? Yorkshires et la saveur du reste du repas étaient superbes"

"Visited this restaurant yesterday, 15/10/23. Right from the start the front of house was very welcoming and friendly. The waiting staff were also just as welcoming and friendly. The choice of food and quality is outstanding. I chose the Sri Lankan Chicken Curry it was absolutely beautiful. My husband went for the three meat roast dinner meal it looked divine and i was told the meat was beautiful. I hasten to add he didn't leave anything!! The kitchen chef and crew are to be praised. All the staff are a credit to their Manager and i would definitely go back. Well done everyone and thank you for an enjoyable experience."

"Wow, first time in this restaurant and amazing, the welcome from staff was amazing, big smiles and just so willing to help all the time. The food arrived at our table and was just so well presented and delicious. When the meal finished and we ordered desert my hubby and I opted for coffee and we wanted pouring cream instead of milk and they made a plan, so well presented in the blue and white beaker just fell in love with the fact that they so willing to go the extra mile. I had to use the wheelchair facilities for my MIL and we took a little wheel about into the interior reataurant and the decor and atmosphere inside was so inviting.Thank you Pheasant at Buckland we as a family enjoyed every interaction with your staff and bite of scrumptious food your chef presented to us. Best of everything"
