At home we set the table restaurant style, with Italian classic music and quite frankly this is the best thing we’ve had this year.COVID-19 lockdown is so difficult and all we have to look forward to is food and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight and would Recommend you to try some of this wonderful food. "Popped in here a month ago to see what the place was like... Peaceful and cosy, there are lots of little knick knacks to look at and some are even for sale! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we left. Overwhelmed by the choice of cakes on offer on the counter, I wished to try the afternoon tea, so we had to forego the beautiful creations for the three tiers of delights brought out on the stand. It was so delicious, I immediately booked for a table of 10 to celebrate my Mother 's 80th birthday. This fell last week, and we had the perfect afternoon with high tea for all. After glasses of non alcoholic prosecco for all, we were served the freshest, most well filled sandwiches (salmon and cream cheese, perfectly seasoned egg mayonnaise, and cream cheese, cucumber and chive ; just baked scones with cream and proper strawberry jam (not, as my Mum pointed out, red jam, but strawberry jam like they used to make, where you can actually taste the berries! ; and a selection of cakes, macarons, mini eclairs, and sherry glasses of a fruity mousse, topped with fresh fruit and gold lustre. The crowning glory was a cake so fresh it refused to stay in one slice as my Mum tried to portion it! (Please note, this was purchased/arranged as an extra. The tea was hot and plentiful and was refreshed over and over. The two gentlemen who man the shop are the sweetest most friendly chaps ever. As others have mentioned, they are both deaf, but this doesn 't hinder anything indeed I even made sure I leaned a few key words in BSL, which I 've loved and I was taught a few more whilst I was there as well. Everyone said it 's an absolute gem and I believe everyone has plans to return. I will definitely be going back, as I want to try more of those cakes!! Thank you for making a very special day absolutely perfect. An absolute credit to the village and surrounding area! <3 x"

"Went here with my elderly parents who have severe food allergies and my young children. I was very worried about how they would take our dietary requirements but they were absolutely amazing about it. They were great at accommodating my children, made us feel so welcomed. The staff were some of the best i have ever had. It is my favourite restaurant I have been to in terms of atmosphere, service and accommodation. The restaurant itself is lovely. Amazing colours, extremely clean, everything is given to you as soon as you ask for it. I have seen mixed reviews on it before but I can never understand why, those people must be miserable . I don’t think I have ever had a better dining experience. This place is an Amazing hidden gem and deserves so much more attention. The food and the drinks are amazing. I had a steak and it was so soft I could cut through it with a normal knife. Absolutely lovely and such a vast variety of menu."

"I tried to order some food over the phone on 3/10/23 at approximately 12.20 am for lunch. Unfortunately the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude to me when I asked some questions about their menu as I am looking for some typically Keralite food and not just dishes from a bog standard Indian takeway. She told me she had no knowledge of Keralite food and stated I do not need to know about Keralite food as it is written in the menu and we are in England anyway . If you insist on employing staff who have no knowledge of your cuisine being served, at least teach them to be polite and not racist when informing customers of their lack of knowledge. I suggest you sack this staff member."

"I love going to coffee creams, and in the last months I have met friends there for tee. my friends and I also enjoyed eating from the menu, the touch and crispy speck is delicious. the geleto and waffel are a real tasty bite. I took my mam recently and we tried the new waffella dessert. this was a something that was perfect on the hot day, a tower of waffeln, geleto, nutella with a few ferraro roche. I chose pistaziengeleto and my mam chose the chocolate and honey. there was only the right combination of ingredients that all worked together. I can recommend this and the other food very much. I use an electric wheelchair and these things are large and bulky design. the reason why I return with my friends to coffee creams is the combination of service and quality of eating. joe and his team are perfect host, from opening the double to ordering and payment from my table everything is done with a smile and little excitement. these little things make the difference between a ok to a fantastic time out."
