Devonshire Chippy - Carte

Seriously poor fish was dry chips where to anaemic to call cooked.

Chips were still hard not cooked enough and the sausage was disgusting. Might just be my taste

Second time I've been on a night out and gone here after and they've robbed me of £12 for chips and curry sauce, they did it another time as well, hope you get shut down for being scammy

Ordered fish, chips and curry sauce to take out, cost £8. Batter was a little soggy and it wasn't because of the curry sauce, which was a little disappointing, but all in all, it was OK and did the job! Would visit again.

I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews of this fish and chips restaurant, but I visited twice in the last month and can only say that the portions were plentiful, the food was nicely cooked, and the value was excellent. I have no reservations about returning in the future. Voir le carte

The food is not bad, but nothing special either. I've ordered online mostly using Uber Eats, but the one time I went to the physical store the staff was a bit rude and generally looked like they couldn't be asked to cook the food I paid for. Decent prices tho, which is good for students.

It 's great I love the place. We always look forward to large fish and chips after a gig at Corporation or Chutch House. The fish are massive and I fully recommend this long serving chippy. Everything tastes so good and always nice 'n ' hot. Get yourselves there! Its awesome still!! New staff.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid !!! Worst chippy I have ever been to. The lady was busy on her phone had no time for customers. I ordered a medium fish and chips. The lady gave me a small!! The chips was very dry and hard like stone !! The fish was terrible, and non-existent with the batter also hard and dry as if it was cooked days before.. food tasted absolutely terrible, and everything was cold. I will not be coming again.
