"This is more like it. The new Indian restaurant in West Malling is the best in all of Kent. It’s just what the area needs, fine dining Indian food. It’s not just a fine dining twist on the usual Madras, Vindaloo, Pathia, Masalla, dhansak, bhuna etc., affair. The dishes on the menu are more authentic, delving into its roots of fine Bangladeshi, South Indian cuisine. The food is beautiful: exciting, presented accurately and tastes amazing. The staff were happy and chatty. The theme of the restaurant matches its finer dining status. Kent have a game changer in the Indian restaurant scene, other Indian restaurants take note."

I visited this restaurant for lunch without realizing it was Indian cuisine. We both ordered the Kathi chicken wrap, and it was absolutely delicious! It's great to find an Indian restaurant that offers something unique and creative! Voir le carte

After 3 years in in india we are pleased that we now have a restaurant on site that offers the taste and standards we enjoyed there and not the usual British curry house. this visit was with friends that we made during our time in South India, and they were as impressed as we are available with the dresses, and the standard of cooking. I can't recommend very much.

A fantastic place to eat in West Malling! The food is excellent, ranging from chicken skewers in a delicious sauce to cheese toasties, all accompanied by a flavorful salad. The masala chips are a must-try; they are incredibly tasty. You can enjoy a variety of curry dishes and other meals either inside the restaurant or outside. Rhiannon and Catie provided very friendly service. Voir le carte

last week we had such a beautiful meal in the h. the staff is always so friendly and eating is simply delicious, especially the chilli chicken and the dal makhani. we were in desh a few times and have never been disappointed with the service or eating. the aromen are unbelievable, the hardest part is the choice to go which dishes! we would recommend it all the way and will definitely be back soon.

This place is simply fantastic. The food is seasoned to perfection and it stands out from your typical curry house. The owner is incredibly pleasant and demonstrates a genuine passion for her restaurant. We also returned for the lunchtime special; for just £6, it was a delicious treat! We shared their spicy chips, which were unique but absolutely delicious. The dishes here are a hidden gem in West Malling!

"We found The Hungry Guest after looking for a brunch somewhere in and around West Malling and decided to try it after hearing mixed reviews. On entrance the café is lovely and welcoming, big and very well stocked with artisan style breads and premium teas and sauces for sale. We were served by a very friendly member of the team who joked and laughed with us and was very happy and welcoming. Also to note regarding the service every member of staff asked how we were today, even the staff member who brought us our food and drinks, and little things like that do make a place memorable and special. We ordered and the first negative was the price. For a sausage sandwich, cheese twist (which in fairness was huge! , Caramel mocha and a cup of tea the total cost was £17. The tea was £2.75 (for a cup, not a pot! And the mocha was £4.50! Thought that these prices were a bit extortionate but paid and tried to enjoy it nonetheless. When our food arrived it was presented in an okay manor, nothing spectacular, which was a shame because I expected something special for £6.50 for sausage sandwich... The food was okay, the bread was good quality and the sausages were very good but I still struggle to justify the prices! The atmosphere in the place to me felt like it was half full with people who were just victims of daylight robbery... I wonder why. If you're in the area and want a good quality yet small breakfast for a premium price this place is perfect for you. However I doubt I will return. I will reiterate though that the staff were brilliant. Parking: There is no car park attached and road parking, which is always very busy, or parking in a paid car park further up the road is your only option however this is no fault of the café."
