"Such a stunning little shop, was surprised by how I had walked past a few times and not noticed what I may have been missing. Produce is wonderful, lots of local veggies, dairy, fresh food and cooked food ready to eat. Lots of zero waste options, pretty much everything I needed. Got some great Cornish butter, hadn't found local dairy much in Manchester so that was great. The staff are really lovely and more than happy to help. I'll definitely be back, thank you!"

I think it’s a little unfair that only 5 stars are allowed to fully vegan/veg restaurants! Stuff is clearly marked Voir le carte

This is the usual go to for brunch without fail... Simply the best poached eggs on toast I’ve had. Great for brunches, lunch and evening meals.

Came across this little cafe bar by accident by it was superb. Fresh made food not your run of the mill stuff and plenty of Vegetarian options. Would definitely go back Voir le carte

Lovely little place. We were put off by the vegan menu at first but it was raining and we were hungry so decided to give it a try and it was really worth it. Excellent quality food and very tasty.

Fancied a late breakfast and happened to be walking past this place. I've passed it hundreds of times on the bus but haven't been in until now. I took a chance on the Caribbean scramble and it was wonderful. Lovely staff and a good cup of tea too. Will visit again :

"Hearing about a traditional fish and chip shop in Prestwich, complete with a restaurant and bar, and cooking in beef-dripping with the option for vegetable oil (call to confirm vegetable oil availability), I was compelled to check it out. Upon entering the shop, I found myself in the bar area, with access to the restaurant located upstairs. The bar was furnished with tables, chairs, and stools for those wishing to enjoy a drink or avoid the stairs. It is encouraging to see young people engaged in the fish and chip shop trade, potentially leading to more traditional establishments in the future. The cod, although slightly smaller than expected, was delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips were among the best I’ve had in a long time. The pea fritters, black pudding fritters, and tartare sauce were also excellent. In-house pies were available as well, so I sampled the cheese and onion and meat and potato varieties and can recommend both. There is parking available across the street and on-street. However, the opening hours might not suit those looking for a lunchtime meal, as at the time of this review, the hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and closed on Sunday and Monday.
