Wonderful disco chippy. Now with a good restaurant upstairs and a bar downstairs. As popular as ever.

Food was tasty, but the portion sizes are very small. I've never had such a small cod, and the large chips were... Not.

Real quality food and the fact that things are cooked in beef dripping makes it even better. Honestly this is the nicest chippy I've ever been to I can’t recommend it enough

We went for a family meal at the new Chip@No8 restaurant. The fish was fresh and the kids loved the sausage and chips. We treated ourselves to a tasty glass of wine. Would highly recommend the chocolate brownie and ice cream to finish

I have just been here tonight for the first time, i have to say it’s the nicest, freshest fish chips i have ever had. Also the young waiter who served us was very polite and helpful, we’ll definitely be making regular visits from now on. Thanks Voir le carte

Absolutely fantastic place. Came to sit in on a Friday night, the wait time was only 15/20 minutes for a table of four. Waiter was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu/types of fish served. Prices are reasonable and great value for money. The haddock was juicy and cooked to perfection and the chips were delicious. Curry sauce just right and mushy peas a great addition to the meal. (I highly recommend the garlic mayo!!!!! Would definitely come back again and try takeaway as well. Everything was fantastic.

We visited the new dining area at Chips at No. 8 and were incredibly impressed. The food was delicious the best chips and sticky toffee pudding we’ve ever eaten with a really good choice of options on the menu. The new dining area is beautifully decorated, comfortable and welcoming, we felt right at home. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and went out of their way to accommodate us with a pram. Some of the best customer service we’ve ever received. We enjoyed our first visit so much, that we returned less than a week later for a family celebration meal. Thank you Chips at No. 8 a new favourite in Prestwich.

Hearing about a traditional fish and chip shop in Prestwich, complete with a restaurant and bar, and cooking in beef-dripping with the option for vegetable oil (call to confirm vegetable oil availability), I was compelled to check it out. Upon entering the shop, I found myself in the bar area, with access to the restaurant located upstairs. The bar was furnished with tables, chairs, and stools for those wishing to enjoy a drink or avoid the stairs. It is encouraging to see young people engaged in the fish and chip shop trade, potentially leading to more traditional establishments in the future.
