Staff friendly and courteous. Only stopped for cake and coffee which was fine. Toilets in need of refurbishment so bad we will not be returning to the cafe.

Considerate well informed staff. So helpful over my gluten free options. Lovely sausages, eggs and chips for me. Ham egg and chips for husband. Couldn’t have been more helpful wish larger restaurants were as good. Thank you so much.

The place is nice, I'll give you that, and I cannot comment on the food which looked good. However, we went there for the first time today,and the service was dreadful. The young man on the counter didn't seem to know what he was doing. The table wasn't clean, and the service was very slow.

Teabag in the cup for £2.50, clearly run out of teapots. Soup said to be leek and potato which was watery and tasteless and a rip off at £6. No coffee available as announced by a notice on the door. This place could get it so right (and has done in the past) but it certainly didn’t do so for us.

1 out of 10 for effort 3 out of 10 for food Probably the worst breakfast I've had the hash browns were still raw the beans well you get about a mouthful of beans.. I ordered a big breakfast and had to wait longer as they only cooked a small. the coffee machine didn't work either i wouldn't even recommend for my dog to eat.

Disappointing in several respects. Arrived at 07:37 for 07:30 opening as advertised on their website, ‘cafe open’ sign outside, entered only to be mardily admonished with ‘we’re not open until 8’. Thought about going elsewhere right then but waited it out. Breakfast was average. On leaving advised the staff of their misleading website and sign, only to be told ‘we always open at 8’ and ‘it’s not my fault’. Better breakfast and better attitude available elsewhere I think.

Called in for late breakfast early lunch, however whilst there is a limited snack menu on a Sunday we decided to give it a try. We both opted for a bacon, sausage and egg bap and to be honest they were the best we've tested in a very long time. My wife also had a Mocha, which had a nice dark chocolatey flavour and not overly sweet and sickly as you sometimes get. The cafe also has a lovely log burning stove which is very welcoming on a cold and wet November morning. We will definitely come back

Called in for a breakfast sandwich and although we arrived before the cafe opened there where already people queuing and having tested the food it's easy to see why. We've been before and once again it doesn't fail to please. We both had a sausage, bacon and egg sandwich, which was brought over quickly and hot. The eggs had a lovely golden yoke, the bacon was well cooked and tasty and the sausage was flavoursome. The cafe sources local produce and they should continue to do so. The three young ladies serving were all polite, pleasant and very efficient, as not long after opening the cafe was over half full and no one was kept waiting Totally recommend this if you're looking for a Sunday morn...

This place needs a good scrub. I came with friends and their little ones. I don’t know where to start. The place is so dirty we had to wipe down the high chairs and tables. The dust in the ledges and leftover food made us all feel rather sick. When the breakfast came it was just awful. The bread, is not nice. It’s claggy and has a vile taste to it. We had visited before a few years back and we enjoyed our breakfast rolls light and airy and we were impressed. Whatever has happened in this time needs to be rectified because we won’t be returning. The food has gone downhill and does not live up to the reviews from a few years back. Avoid at all costs unless they change drastically. Food and hyg...
