Without a doubt, this is the best Indian meal I've ever had! The food was extraordinary, and my only regret is that I couldn't try more dishes. The staff was amazing, and I felt very relaxed and comfortable throughout my visit.

Its a small spot but I couldn't fault this place. Brilliant Goan food, (the Lamb Xacuti was one of the best Ive had for some time), and the staff were amazing. I've had the pleasure of dining at De Baga twice, and on both occasions, I was met with excellent service from the friendly staff. What truly impressed me was the consistent quality of the food, which was excellent each time. Outstanding, visited on a recommendation and frankly it surpassed our expectations real mutton full of flavour properly cooked and fresh popadoms cooked correctly (a rare thing perfect puri, having lived in Goa and travelled much of India I can honestly say this is amongst the best Indian food you can find anywhere in the world (big statement hence I waited24 hrs before writing it ! my guests were blown away by the flavours the staff are superb, knowledgable and some are actually Goan ! As a returning customer, I'm always impressed with the menu here. I had the pleasure of trying my first biryani recently, and it was fantastic! The service was friendly, and the dishes were packed with flavor, plus there are plenty of great vegetarian options. It would be nice to see some hot drinks added to the menu as well. One downside was that the back door was left open for quite a while, which made it chilly inside with the freezing temperatures outside. However, overall, this place is a real gem on Headingley High Street. Service: Dine in.

I wanted to try Baga for a while, so I stopped by with a friend before heading to a nearby gig. The staff provided friendly service with smiles, entertaining us and checking to make sure we were enjoying our meal. There were so many mouthwatering dishes on the menu that it was hard to choose — in an ideal world, I would have loved to try them all! We started with king prawns and squid, and then had the house chicken with naan bread. Paired with Indian drinks and Fanta, everything was extremely tasty and authentic. I will definitely return soon to try more dishes!

The drinks menu offered plenty of options, including decent wines and a selection of beers and cocktails. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, even with the restaurant fully booked on a Friday night—kudos to the staff. We even spoke with one of the team members who explained their concept of lighter curries, designed to energize rather than make you feel stuffed. They really hit the mark with that philosophy. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with a diverse and relaxed crowd all enjoying their meals and conversations. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in Leeds—no question about it! Voir le carte
