Highly recommend this place for a stay over. Clean and tidy. Wifi and tv. Secure with key pad entrance and key card easy to use. Breakfast at Dashwood Pub friday Saturday and Sunday mornings. Lovely local walking and easy reach of Oxford and Bicester. The...Oxford Arms in the village provides excellent food. Highly recommend a stay here.

Relaxing ambience and professional service. Steak frites were cooked perfectly at medium rare in UK so often steaks are over cooked, but not here. Chicken schnitzel was tasty. All enjoyable. The meal was let down by the vanilla chocolate mousse with berry compote. The...mousse was grainy and the berrys did not complement well. Avoid that dessert, and this restaurant is a winner.

We had arranged a Sunday walk in the area and decided to finish with lunch at The Dashwood Arms. There were of us so we booked well in advance and chose our menus in the week before the walk We arrived on time and...within minutes of sitting down, all of us were served our delicious Sunday lunch. Absolutely fantastic service and food! We booked the Dashwood last minute for Sunday lunchtime. The lovely young woman on the phone was really helpful and flexible. The service throughout our meal was spot on. Food was amazing great portions, beautifully cooked and served. I am gluten free and that didn’t present any problems. We sat outside in really lovely surroundings. We will definitely be back!

First visit to Kirtlington. Had a wonderful Sunday lunch. The choice of menu was a real surprise. Alongside traditional Sunday roast there were a few exciting alternatives. The wife had a roast there was never any danger of her sharing although she struggled to finish...it. The fish was a nice choice. Light and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and really could not do enough for us. The landlord made us all feel very welcome. We will be going back very soon.

after a nice long walk around kirtlington we had a nice lunch. I had the vegetarian roast that was delicious and not think like most I veg roast and my higher half had a delicious wobbles bahji burger that could go one. the children's menu had many possibilities, the roasting looked good, but we gave in and they had 2 delicious pizzas! beautiful wine selection and they had alcohol-free beer on camp. the pub seemed to be family-run and everyone was very friendly! kid friendly, dog friendly and also I forgot to mention with food allergies helpful as both have my 2 allergies. and they have a gluten-free frit, which is also good for other allergies, obviously always to check, but it is a relief...
