Unassuming entrance and down the stairs to a buzzing, always busy restaurant. Very popular with locals. Excellent service and delicious food. Only fault may be that portions are too generous!

Ein Restaurant wie aus den 50ern mit einem herrlichen Rosengärtchen. Toni führt das Lokal seit ich denken kann mit einer unglaublichen Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft. Das Essen ist immer top. Schön dass es sowas noch gibt!

we visited this beautiful restaurant with our friend milan terzic ,dalmatiner is place where we felt like home welcome we started with pumpkin soup with pumpkin core in acidic saw it fantastic for the main thing we had rumbsteak entercote with fried tweebel and kartoffel. it was tender and delicious! great value, good food and great staff also its simple parking around

A lot of places were closed on Pentecost Sunday, so sort of lucked out finding this place. Lovely setting in a great neighborhood (they have a wonderful outdoor spot behind the restaurant). Even though it was probably only in the high 50s (F), everyone else was inside, we like to sit outside and the accommodated us. Very good food, very friendly staff. /wave Kovacec & Sabina!

Ein leuchtender Stern in Münchens Gastronomie, welche sich oft schwach zeigt,mit viel Schein, Arroganz und schlechter Präsentation.Ein Besuch beim Dalmatiner Grill bringt Freude, hier ist es schön, Freundlichkeit und beste Qualität der Speisen überzeugen den Gast.Hier zeigt sich das gute alte Jugoslawien, offen, menschlich als europäisches Vorzeigeland, doch alles bleibt bescheiden.Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, und die Atmosphäre in diesem Lokal stimmt einfach.Viva Jugoslavia! und ein Hauch von Österreich, gar Kärnten fließt mit ein.Bravo!

Nach zuletzt intensiven Restauranttests von indischer Küche waren wir heute mal kroatisch essen. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es war um kurz nach 12 schon gut was los, wir haben einen gemütlichen Tisch erhalten. Das Personal hatte an jedem Tisch Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch, das lockerte die Stimmung merklich auf. Es waren viele Stammgäste da, immer ein gutes Zeichen. Prompter Service, Preise ok, und das Essen war sehr lecker. Frisch, heiß und ansprechend zubereitet. Da gehen wir gern wieder hin, wenn uns mal nicht nach indisch ist :)

After not being able to get in on Sunday night due to the restaurant being full, we tried again on our final night in Munich. Glad we persisted. Warmly greeted by the waiter who remembered us from our previous, unsuccessful visit, we were shown to...a table where we ordered Turkey cordon bleu (my husband) and Rahmschnitzel (veal with mushroom cream sauce for me). Food came out hot, plentiful and delicious. They even specially made a salad for my husband who does not like dressings. Service was fast and friendly and the service staff spoke good English even having a joke with us. Thoroughly enjoyable. Shame we are leaving Munich tomorrow and won't have an opportuniy to go back.

dalimatiner was recommended so we decided to visit it on Wednesday. the restaurant was busy (good sign). Although I cannot remember the precise translation, we had the pot roast (above the house speciality) and a pork plier (also on the list of house specialties). that was good and we were not disappointed. we enjoyed the recommended wein, which was croatian and inexpensive, but the investment was worth (approx. 1/3 of the corresponding U.S. red). Finally, the crepes were amazing (we asked for ice and they were happy to accommodate). while there was a bit of linguistic barrier, the enthusiasm of the staff (and owners overshadowed all challenges. they were great. the best part came with payme...
