Excellent ramen! Gyoza gratis when you order a meal (in lunch time). Do not hesitate to order dessert - chocolate gyoza delicious.. Service sympathique.

After almost minutes of waiting (even though the lady said and feeling was like they simply forgot my order) i finally got my miso ramen. Disappointment is all I can say. The portion was unbelievably small and totally not worthy. Voir le carte

The portions are tiny, its like small Tapas. The quality and taste arent bad after all. The menu is small and the price is a bit high. Ok for snacks.The service is not bad.The owner is the same owner of Shibuya Restaurant in Nippes.

It's a nice place, but a little bit loud. Something about the acoustics in the place mean that you really need to speak up to have a normal conversation. Ribs are really excellent, but the fish is clearly frozen and I would avoid it the next time.

My husband and I were recommended to dine there. And we were happy we followed the advice. It's been amazing food and service. Excellent quality !! Waiters are really good and friendly. This "DAIKAN Izakaya Bar" is a typical Japanese Izakaya with many small Japanese/Asian dishes to go with a nice drink. I don't know if there are any other "Izakaya" in Germany but this was certainly a nice one!The menu was like in Japan and the taste as well. Super delicious. As a Japanese, I checked if the cooks were japanese and they sure were. The owner that runs the place seems to love Japanese food and Japan. He happened to be there when we went there and we could talk to him a bit. The name of the restaurant derives from a trendy and nice quarter in Tokyo called "Daikanyama". We were lucky today , cause we got a table . I tried last Friday to get a table for 6 for my girls party , but I had no chance . The lady on the phone was nice, but a bit inconsistent. Anyhow today I called up , and got a table . The good was super quick and the girls , waitresses were really nice . The food was quick , we had the miso ramen ! Delicious . I recently had dinner here with a couple friends who now live in Cologne. I was really impressed with the overall quality of the experience and especially the food.The restaurant is decent-sized, but my friends told me it is often hard to get space as the restaurant is popular and usually very crowded. The decor reminds one of a noodle shop in Tokyo, though the Koelsch beer instead of Sapporo is a reminder that one is in Germany not Japan. Our server was polite and helpful with suggestions.
