Been coming here for years . I’ve seen it change as well . Ribs are just seasoned to how you like them , dry and uninspiring. Don’t think I’ll be back to be honest time to give up my regular and move on . They seem to be just going through the motion. Sorry to say

The Da fa Chinese restaurant is just off the Levante Beach about 200 mars from the old town. The decor is basic but the food is very good for the price. Portions are large and the food cooked fresh to order. Set menus range from 6.6 euros to 8.6 euros and include half bottle of wine or a beer or soft drink, choice of starters, choice of main with rice or noodles followed by coffee, ice cream or crime caramel. Just back from Benidorm, and delighted to say that we had lovely lunch in this restaurant everyday of our holiday. We chose dishes from the menu of the day, which included spring roll, main course with fried rice, or noodles, or chips. This also included a bottle of wine between two, and also coffee.........all for the bargain price of £6 each.My new favourite is the beef in a black bean sauce, and my husband loved the sweet and sour chicken.Everything was cooked to order, and was piping hot.

Stumbled (literally!! into this place purely by chance! So glad we did now. Excellent friendly service! Complimentary bowl of prawn crackers were on the table almost before we sat down! A couple of pints, then one of the set menu options with bottle of wine, all for less than 25euro for the pair of us! Couldn’t find any fault with the food, it was all obviously freshly cooked, tasty, and loads of it! Glad we found it when we did, only 2 days into our stay, we will be back before the week is out.

Last year we visited Da Fa and had a very good meal hence our return visit. On this occasion my husband and I had the 7.80€ set meal. We both had vegetable spring rolls to start followed by sweet and sour chicken balls with chips and rice for our mains. The spring rolls were greasy and the chicken balls were under cooked with soggy batter. The sweet and sour sauce was runny with hardly any vegetables. We were the only customers but the service was rushed. The main was brought out while half way through eating the starter. The staff made us feel like they were about to close but it was 5.30pm (they close at 11pm). Voir le carte

Tried this place twice recently. We were regular customers a few years ago but it has changed hands within the the last 3 years. It was very quiet on the first occasion and only called again because we were staying close by and had had a hard day walking round the market.This time there was just one other customer and the only background was a young boy watching cartoons on the TV. The owner/waitress then managed to sneeze nearby without bothering to use a tissue. Previous customers who we met later were of the same opinion that it was no longer worth visiting and am sorry to say that it seems Da Fa will be strugglig to survive unless it changes.

We all had the 3 course set meal for €7 80 with half a bottle of wine. The staff made the group feel welcome and the restaurant was immaculate and Covid compliant with hand santiser and well spaced tables. On arrival we had prawn crackers and most of us started with the spring roll which was enormous and tasted great. There was a great choice of main courses including sweet and sour chicken balls, pineapple chicken and chicken curry. The meal deal came with a choice of egg fried or noodles. For dessert there was a choice of ice cream or coffee. I would recommend a visit because the meal was excellent value for money, tastes great and the portion sizes were huge.

popped in after reading reviews and looked past the basic decor.Ordered drinks and came back with wrong order so requested again and second order was also wrong but gave the benefit of the doubt thinking the language barrier might of been the prob so decided to keep the second round.Ordered from the set menu and first course was a spring roll which although hot was very greasy, the waiter who came to clear plates after starter put clean plates down then plonked our dirty cutlery from the starter onto the clean plates obviously for us to use for our main.
