"Took my mum to this restaurant in Richmond and we had a really nice evening. When we first arrived our outdoor table booking was not available but Mike very kindly sorted us out and we got the table we booked. Throughout the evening we got really great attention from the very friendly staff and they made our evening. We had the steak and fries and the ice cream from the 2 course menu. The steak is very thin and nothing special but the fries and ice cream were excellent and overall we felt it was good value for money."

Cote is usually a solid choice. Quality classics with a lovely ambience. Food was fine, but fell slightly short of the usual standard. Staff were lovely, restaurant full but it felt slightly tired this time.

You know what you are getting with Cote classic French food, we had moules frites tuna niscose salad both tasted great, staff were friendly and food came out in good time with well timed gaps in between. We sat outside on the small terrace, which is good for people watching on the Richmond high rd if a little noisy.

I was in a Côte in Kensington a few weeks back and was surprised at how good it was. I needed a table for a large party in Richmond and booked it. The staff was very pleasant but extremely slow. The same dishes we had had weeks earlier and liked at the other location were not good. I didn’t eat mine and left hungry, others had better luck. The location is good.
