"We really enjoyed our visit to Cote Basingstoke. The food was very good as was the wine. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The only thing we were disappointed and rather surprised at was there was no ‘pastis’ on the drinks menus such as Ricard. This is a French restaurant and you should have this on your menu. Fortunately the very good manager managed to find some out back for us which we very much enjoyed. I only meet up with this friend once or twice a year and we always like to ‘chew the cud’ over a Ricard. So thank you to the manager of Basingstoke. I do hope head office take note and put Ricard on the menu."

First visit to Chi. Food was great, but service was slow they advised that they were one person down on staff.

This restaurant has an excellent variety of gluten-free options, delicious food, and a staff that is friendly and helpful. It is one of my favorite places to dine.

I chose from the fixed menu while my dining companions selected from the regular menu. We all found our meals to be delicious and thought they were well worth the price.

Didn't eat, so cant rate the food. Waited for 25 minutes after being seated and no one had taken even a drinks order. So went up to the counter to order, assuming there is no table service. Everything except 1 item we ordered was sold out. We left and went somewhere else to eat.

Really friendly service. A nice trainee being shown the ropes by a more senior member of staff who was also very friendly. The food, unfortunately was distinctly average. The quality of ingredients has gone down hill. Portions are smaller and not well proportioned. The ‘beans’ are awful. My partner enjoyed the ‘French breakfast’ more than I enjoyed my ‘Côte’ breakfast so maybe go for that one
