"Wir waren Mittagessen im Beach Restaurant bei herrlichen Sonnenschein. Die Lage ist direkt am Hallwilersee. Leider liegen hier Kieselsteine als Bodenuntergrund, dass finde ich nicht gut, es ist schlecht zum laufen für die Gäste und den Service. Auch sind zu wenig Sonnenschirme vorhanden, da die Bäume noch nicht Schatten werfen würde ich noch 2 bis 3 hinstellen. Das Essen war ok. Der Preis für den Cesarsalat finde ich zu hoch für die Portion. Serviert worde hier schnell, dass ist gut für den Mittag. Die Servicemitarbeiter sind nett und schnell. Parkplätze sind genug vorhanden."

"Dinner at Niesenberg was the highlight of our short trip to Switzerland.The owner of the B&B we stayed at recommended this restaurant to us and without any expectations, we thought we’d give it a try. What a fantastic surprise it was: first of all the building itself is beautiful, traditional, cosy and very romantic. Service from our Dutch waiter was excellent and as professional as you’d find in a 5-star hotel. He recommended a fantastic Portuguese red wine which we’ll certainly try and get a hold of for our cellar at home. Then, the food, which was truly exquisite. They have set menus that sounded very tempting, but we opted to go for an à la carte main instead. They’re on the expensive side and we paid CHF 40 and CHF 50 for ours, but the portions are generous and I cannot remember when last I had such a well cooked and delicious piece of venison, with probably one of the best sauces I’ve ever tried. I would go back purely for this dish! My husband ordered the horse steak which was equally fantastic, and both dishes were served with excellent homemade sides (vegetables and croquettes). To finish off, we ordered the crème brûlée, which was the only dessert available that evening, and a small cheese plate. Although they were both very good, the standouts of the evening were the main courses. All in all we had nothing short of a perfect evening. Not cheap, but money well spent."

"Ich war zum ersten mal dort weil die das Restaurant oder Hotel umbauen oder sanieren ist das Restaurant provisorisch aufgebaut. Es ist sehr gemütlich ist sehr schön gemacht. Das Essen war super auch die aussicht uf den Hallwilersee. Wir mussten ein bisschen warten bis uns etwas zu trinken angeboten wurde ansonsten einwandfrei das personal."

"Bisher waren unsere früheren Versuche hier zu Essen immer erfolglos, da das Lokal permanent ausgebucht zu sein scheint. So reservierten wir für einen Samstag rechtzeitig und wurden dabei in keiner Art und Weise enttäuscht. Eine riesige Auswahl an Vor- und Hauptspeisen, die unglaubliche Auswahl an Pastagerichten und mindestens 25 leckere Pizzen, stellt die Gäste erst einmal auf die Probe. So entschieden wir uns für Pizza und Pasta, als Vorspeise ein knackiger, gemischter Salat und als Dessert wieder einmal ein leckeres, hausgemachtes Tiramisu.Erfreulicherweise steht der Monatswein in 7dl Qualität auch im Offenausschank zur Wahl.Der Service ist äusserst freundlich und alles klappt gut. Nach unserem Besuch wundert es uns nicht mehr, weshalb dieses sympathische Lokal vielfach ausgebucht ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"as a group of 13 youth friends we stayed a week in the lakehotel beinwil directly at the hallwilersee. both accommodation and catering were excellent to reasonable trips. a rich breakfast buffet brought us to a good start in the day. from here with train - 10 minutes from the train station you can explore the closer and more environment, be it the interesting watercourses, be it the historic towns of the canton aargau. in the evening we were spoiled by very good cooks. the personal was first-class in every sight. the hotel and restaurant management courtesy, for example as a thundering approach, we were quickly surrounded by the beautiful terrace in the valley. in five steps you are on the naval ridge; a little further, along the hiking path you will find a good entrance to swimming in the clean sea - with discreet dressing option. so we had a very great week with the most beautiful weather. thank you to the cheerful staff!"
