Rubbish service, staff stood round doing nothing but laughing while customers waiting. Fires in in red hot heat outside, rubbish pub always empty

Excellent friendly pub. Well worth a visit. Very comfortable atmosphere and felt very welcome. Plenty of seating and food being served on a Tuesday evening.

visited on Saturday night. unfortunately we had no good experience. a group of about young (under age-sighted) youth was in there and looked very drunk. Other than that, the pub looked beautiful Voir le carte

My hubby I headed to skipton for shopping fish chips at bizzies but stumbled across this gem. We had a drink like the warm friendly atmosphere so much we went back to eat. Food was lovely staff are so friendly....We will be back.

Reviewed this pub at the height of summer with special mention for the fantastic staff. Been back a few times and again today for a mid winter visit snow on the hills, freezing cold staff still fantastic plus good beers and food....Best pub I’ve visited in Skipton

the pub was very busy when we arrived, so we were happy to book a table and return later. the girl behind the bar was abrupt and quite rude. determined not to disturb and went to a very nice pub just around the corner....Funish looking pub, but surely personal can be trained to turn courteously customers away. again we visited skipton and drove directly to eat at the **** and bottle. we went first in October and had a great time and meal. it is such a wonderful place and the personal is fabulous. especially this time we met lucy who was so beautiful and looked so good at us. we missed the wonderful shane, who unfortunately has followed other labour adventures, but we sincerely hope that everything will be as good as he really deserves. many thanks again for a super night in the **** and bottle.

After a bad nights sleep I decided staying in bed would make me feel worse. So after a group chat on the whatsap we were up and out. Planning to go elsewhere but found ourselves in Skipton (well we had to as I nearly ended...up on some random farm after missing the turning so carried on to Skipton) weather was dire but the right clothing it doesn’t matter. A little bit of retail therapy and a delightful meal with vino in the **** and Bottle leading on to more retail therapy with the giggles. Food was delicious and warmed us up. Or that could have been the wine !!!

richard and sarah have always created a fantastic culinary experience here, even if they are not there. her team is fantastic, eating is delish, the atomphere itself at busy days is great and such a great experience also for the family dog. cozy and warm...inside with easy access to toilets and a beautiful and full sitting area outside. food reactions were always fast and efficient and employees are friendly. since years come and is my favorite place in skipton. richard and sarah have made a small place with sick house and great eating and is always a pleasure with my family either as a private affair or as part of the yorkshire presse mike Voir le carte
