I have visited this restaurant multiple times, but my recent experience was not up to its usual standard. Additionally, the staff requested payment in cash rather than accepting cards.

We’ve only had takeaway from here but it’s always nice and flavoursome and well cooked. The staff are pleasant when they take the order and we never have too long to wait for collection.

The food was excellent, but the only disappointment for me was that I prefer flat onion bhajis instead of the small round ones served here. However, there were plenty of other starters to choose from as well. Voir le carte

My family and I visited this restaurant today and it was fantastic. The server was incredibly kind and helpful, and the wait time was very short. The food was delicious with generous portion sizes. My child even requested a straw, which was brought to us promptly. Any requests we had were quickly met. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Arrived at 17.35 as we had tickets for the Paramount which started at 19.30. We envisaged we would have plenty of time to enjoy a meal. How wrong could we be. No welcome on arrival and we were taken to a table and left. Someone came to take our drinks order. No good evening or even a smile. Then someone came to take our food order. We ordered pickle tray and poppadoms along with onion bhajis and asked for them all to come together. The bhajis didn’t arrive and we had get up to find someone to ask for them. After previously giving this place a 5 star review after multiple good visits. Tonight I felt the need to amend my review. Booked in advance and arrived on time, had to wait 25 mins for a table, after ordering at the waiting area we were taken upstairs where there was not one other person sat down, it was empty. Why the delay? We eventually got our starters. Half hour later, because we were the only ones upstairs and forgotten about, they came with the mains. One of which had clearly been left waiting as was burnt and tough. Unusual for this establishment based on past experience.
