"even though we enjoyed a few, the other night was the first time we had dinner. it was very busy when we arrived at 20 o'clock, weekday, but at 21 o'clock it was relatiw quiet, apart from a very big birthday party group. Maybe because the kitchen was quiet, our meal was prepared quite quickly absolutely wonderful. we started with crispy aromatic escapes, followed by a selection of other dishes all perfect as the service. we will not hesitate to visit again; recommended."

First time visit for us and definitely won’t be the last. Lovely food and great service . I’d highly recommend the diced filet steak Vietnamese style

in the opposite direction, the kitchen was closed in the hotel, so asked for ideas. it was a Monday night. the busty apartment is always a good sign. the huh in the Satay-Skewers was sparse compared to what I am used to....The main course was on it. really hot and good. never asked if I wanted a plate or a bowl. Perfectly good chinese restaurant. set in the middle of a small row of shops with parking outside, or in neighbouring streets. It is a modest establishment, but the food is prettyy damm good. the three-course fixed price lunch came in at £9.90 perperson. Good choice...of wines and beers, and very efficient aservuce throughout. Would happily return

1. in the restaurant and loved it. the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful when my son asked for a certain meal. the portion sizes were great and the boxing of superficial at the end was no problem. we will definitely be back, but would recommend to book as it was fairly busy collecting with many preparations. 5 stars are not enough to be honest

eating was ok husband portion size of the Chow main was tiny a bit of food that would fit on a side panel my meal was clearly warmed in the microwave regular seemed to get powdered cracker but others not much. oaps came in there seems to be client base there should be 2 menus a small plate and a normal and had the joy to sit on the next table to two fucked youngs in the mine Voir le carte

Very nice food and good staff service. Portion sizes are big and good quality with lots of veg and meat etc. We paid around £50 for 3 chow meins, chips, egg fried rice, fried chicken, chicken curry and prawn crackers which I think is a reasonable price, especially considering the portion sizes. We ended up with enough leftovers for a second dinner! Very good and highly recommend.

Small portion size, wrong drink orders, food full of salt and MSG, some dishes were quite expensive for the small amount of low quality meat that was brought to the table. Main meals took a worryingly long time to come out. Most, but not all,...staff were impatient and rushed. Wanted to give us the least amount of their time as possible which frankly came across quite rude. Disappointing and annoying. Will not be returning.

"Bill came to £145 for two people. This is the third time we have been to Mr Lous to try their “famous” lobster deal where you get a bottle of champagne with any 2pb Lobster which is only on Fridays. Each time we have been they have had NO lobster! Food we did order was extremely overpriced, dry and unpleasant. Duck spring rolls £7 hardly had any meat in them, just stuffed with a load of Veg. Honey Chicken £18 was basically 8 chicken nuggets on a plate with NO Sauce! We had to share the sauce from another main. Prawn toast £14 was awful! It is basically one piece of toast stuffed with more than the usual amount of Prawns. It was dry and taste was overwhelming with the amount of prawns stuffed in there. King Dum Po Chicken £24 calamari £4 £28 total for a main without any rice or chips! You could tell they reduced the portion size just to add the Calamari. Portion was mainly veg with little meat. AGAIN! Tried to order drinks with the porter who brings food to the table which he said he’ll get a staff member to come over. 15 minutes later no one came. I had my meal with no drink. We was in the booth right next to the bar so I had to go up and order it myself. Cocktail took another 10 minutes to come. Drinks were overpriced due to the lack of complimentary champagne with the lobster which we called and was assured they would have on! . Service was extremely slow, waited 20 minutes to get a waiters attention to pay the bill. You could spot way off who the owner was as she was stomping around the restaurant piercing looks at the staff. The concept of this restaurant is amazing, But the delivery on service, food, affordability and customer service have been compromised by its former reputation which once held this establishment in such a high pedestal. Now, it seems it’s got more expensive without any improvement on its service. It is the kind of restaurant you try once just for experience, but retention of customers is defiantly an issue this restaurant faces. Restaurant itself was designed with a gorgeous interior with good lighting. But, I wouldn’t be deceived."
