Chilli Banana Unique Sandwich

I had a fantastic sandwich at this charming restaurant located in the heart of historic Hitchin. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was clean. I highly recommend a visit! Thank you!

Fabulous breakfast! One of the freshest and tastiest breakfasts I have had in years! Everything was fantastic! I had the traditional and my husband had the stack which was eggs and bacon on ciabatta bread. My full English was perfection.

I am vegetarian and ordered a vegetarian sandwich. After eating most of the sandwich I then realised there was a bit of chicken in it. They clearly are not vegetarian friendly and their hygiene on their griddle where they cook the ingredients is very poor....

The service at this restaurant is consistently excellent. I was surprised to see someone complaining about negative comments towards Eastern Europeans, as I have never witnessed this during all my visits. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. I am excited for my next visit!

Was hooked from my first visit here. Best sandwiches in the whole of Hertfordshire in my opinion. A wide selection of fresh and tasty ingredients, great bread/rolls and lots of nice additions like the local baked goods and Karma drinks for example. As a family, we have been going to Chilli B for many years. The food and service has always been outstanding. We have always experienced excellent tasty food, with Sharon and Bill willingly accomodating my gluten intolerance and vegan requirements. There is always a lovely friendly, relaxed atmosphere with all staff being personable, helpful and ensuring we are happy with our food. We regularly eat in or have take aways and wholeheartedly recommend Chilli B's.

Chilli B’s is absolutely the best place to eat in Hitchin. The menu is fantastic with so much choice. Today I had a breakfast of scrambled eggs, avocado, mushrooms and smoked salmon with added black pudding. I actually contemplated sitting there for an extra couple of hours with some tea and staying for lunch if my metered parking hadn’t been due I probably would have done! All the staff are kind and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Please disregard any negative reviews as there is nothing but good things to be said about it. I highly recommend everything about this place, it’s warm, beautifully decorated and the food is delicious.

After much consideration, I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience at a café in Hitchin. My mother, who was battling cancer last year, had recommended this café for its delicious breakfast. We finally had the opportunity to visit together recently. Despite a slight wait for a table, we were eventually seated by a young waitress who took our drink order promptly. However, we noticed a large table behind us received their food before us, even though we had ordered first. The service continued to be frustrating as our order seemed to be misplaced multiple times.
